The "real" Alexander in the game was actually probably the biggest incarnation in the franchise... the remnants of his broken body become one of the zones in the game. The Alexander in this video is actually a man-made automaton that is housing Alexander.

My favorite summon/sacred beast of all time from all games. Awesome to see a bit of his history. He's living proof that White Mages *do* rock. I almost wish you included his summon sequence for Chocobo Dungeon for the Wii, but I understand (his voice was less than epic anyways, with that high-low double tone he had; if only it was only the low tone -_-)

it's not actually destroyed. they just like 'defeated' and 'returned to their eidolonic realm' something like that. so we still can summon bahamut. alexander need 2 summoner. and it will only be summoned when alexandria is in danger.

@Piccolo13 Eidolons are spirits, Bahamut's body was destroyed, but he CAN be re-summoned. Alexander's spirit was absorbed and as a result destroyed by the Invincible, therefore can never be summoned again.
