Season 9 SUCKED so bad but that was the writers fault. Season 10 is turning out to be outstanding and Tom Wellings acting has always been improving throughout these last 10 years but Season 10 i was shocked to see what he's capable of and i'm very impressed

Just the scene where he's at his dad's grave and he's talking about how he wants to be the man his dad always wanted him to be was really awsome. Tom steps it up even more in this season then he ever has. Season 10 should be a great season

DC/WB movie franchise ban. No Bats, No WW, No Green Lantern. Think of the restrictions they had on Lois but even greater. Lois/Clark were banned from kissing before 2006 because of Superman Returns etc. Do people have to ask this question 50xbillion times each yr?

I actually think season 9 has been the best season since season 3... seasons 4-8 were slowly declining. Season 8 started off great but ended terribly. It all went downhill when Kristin Kreuk returned. I'm glad she's gone. Clark Kent is finally moving towards Superman status. Lana Lang was Clark Kent's archille's heel.

yes, clark kent IS superman. but it doesnt HAVE to end with him becoming superman. a series based on his teenage and younger years is satisfying enough. unless your stupid and need it tying up nicely in a little bow otherwise you cant put the pieces together.

There shouldn't have to be pieces. I always expected the show to end with him becoming Superman. Or at the very least going off to do his training. Smallville has given us a different take on his training. One where he doesn't have to leave home for 12 years, but learns as he goes. So yes, if the show didn't end after graduation and the Fortress being built the next milestone I expected it to end on is Clark Kent donning the suit. That doesn't make me stupid.

Also, one thing people should know is whether or not Smallville gets a season ten all rides on Tom. If he signs on, there's another season but if not, there isn't another. He actually has more pull than people think. It's going to be the same as with season nine...he HAS to sign on for there to be another season.

He's already signed on. When he renewed his contract at the end of season 8, he renewed it for 2 years. Tom, Erica, Callum, Cassidy and Justin are all signed through season 10. Allison is the only one who's contract is up in May 2010. And from the way she's been talking lately, she doesn't want to sign another one.

the dude from the legion comes and tells clark he dies the next day. oliver captures davis and cloe uses the silver kryptonite to split doomsday/davis in two. doomsday breaks free and goes on a killing rampage. jimmy takes davis and cloe to a safe place called the watchtower, but davis learns that cloe doesn't love him so he kills jimmy but in the process jimmy kills davis as well. doomsday is too much for clark in a small fight they have but clark traps doomsday deep underground, clark leaves

They were actually thinking of doing Bruce Wayne before he became Batman but it would be much more compex and difficult to do. Superman is pretty easy. He learns of his powers on the farm. Meets the iconic character from the superman mythos. New super-villians. Moving to Metropolis. Discovering the Fortress of Solitude. Begins his training whilst battling new enemies and going into the Phatom Zone and such. Superman probably has the best storyline of any hero.
