i raise fiddlers at home. they sit on the peak of a rock and fling their claw so hard they might tumble off the ornament. they are funny though:)

I have seen thousands of them doing this at once on a neap tide over a decade ago in Sebastian Inlet. One of the most amazing memories; football field of mud with so many little bright claws waving.

we found a crab that looks just like that today in our parking lot...the thing is that its like 3 inches big...

im not sure if its a fiddler crab or not...i need help identifying it so we can give it proper care....right now we have it in salt water from a marine pet shop but we added alittle fresh water to balance it out...can anyone help???

My crab doesnt do that jumping thing.. it just waves his claw kind of like a robot.. I have like 3 males and 3 females by the way... Is that stil the mating thing?
