This is James Sinclair ... he's a bit of a known name in London, he appears to use VT in a very external way. I've since heard on the grapevine he's transfered from Ip Chun and is now under Sifu Wam Kam Leung, Student of Wong Shun Leung.
I dont mean to be an ass but when I was learning wing chun The guy that thought me was strict, I had to do so many drill because I didnt "flow" properly. He said "you have to keep the tempo, you start slow you end slow you start fast you end fast" in this vid you jerk a lot. Also my stance was bad so i had to stand like that during drills with a pillow between my knees and if it fell I knew i moved out of the stance. Seems harsh when I say it like that but it keeps you right.
No. you were very polite. please give my regards to your sifu.
Please tell him that I was in Hong Kong two weeks ago and went to visit Wan Kam Leung who showed me a photo of himself with Your sifu Sinclair. He seemed very proud of James! All the best. Perhaps we'll meet one day :-)
Hi escapeephil. You just made me chuckle to myself. When I saw your reply in my mail box I wondered... " ha! which newbie has called him john instead of james" I then came here to the comments section to find the answer to my question...And to my horror it was ME!
I'm ashamed! Thanks for pointing out my mistake! I know it's James and don't know why I called him John. Tut,Tut!

@proximoius
Depends - Hard or Soft Wing Chun.
It's not all water.
EpicAthiest 11 months ago
@EpicAthiest its uses minimal energy to counter moves and flow, not hard at all.

Do you make the muscles tense during the form?
r3xx 1 year ago
@r3xx relax , especially if you go super slow , imagine if you were tense doing slow , you would tire quickly
