I have a cd with Hayley singing this song, with this particular partner and it annoys me that their voices are so similar that it is hard to distinguish them. Without knowing who the starting voice is, it can be difficult to identify the singers. I find that I have to concentrate hard if I want to identify Hayley in that particular recording.

The difference here is staying power. While Brittany's fad like career fades into memory Haley will still be performing and selling CD's. Brittany will be spend millions on therapy wondering why her career died as quickly as it began and Haley will still be seeing her fan base swell. While Haley's career may not shine as brightly at any one point as Brittany's I believe it will be relatively less likely to burn out as quickly. Haley's career is just getting started IMO.

I said Britney Spears might be popular, but Hayley's voice totally surpassed her. Hayley was and is the role model for a talented singer.
