I don't use hollow points in anything. the feeding error was with the magazine. That is no longer a problem as I previously posted on an older comment. Russian Surplus 147Grn FMJBT is what i fire through that.
Magazine actually. There is a feeding ramp built into the magazine. The rim of the round was catching on it causing it to not feed properly. That problem is fixed now. Took a little polishing with some emery cloth.
Oh cool, I m happy you got the problem solved, If I bought a gun and it was doing that I would send it back to the factory (if it was the gun). I would be very mad.
well I traded a few other firearms for mine. but I have seen them anywhere from $800 to $1200. As far as any scope you have goes anytime you sight it in them move it there is going to be some fluctuation. I don't have mine sighted in I don't like scopes I got my mule deer just this morning with mine open sight about 220yds.
try at JGsales. The PSL rifle's primary purpose is to be used by a designated marksman and is used to extend the range of the average soldier beyond the capabilities of their issued AKM carbines. It is built around a stamped steel receiver similar to the RPK machine gun's receiver. The PSL's operation is the same long stroke action of the Kalashnikov family of weapons, typically issued with a 4x24 optical sight called a LPS Tip 2 which is a simplified version of the PSO-1 telescopic weapon sight
@Choncho203 - yeah, shooting anything higher then 150 grain bullets can crack the receiver. Not the most accurate gun but fun to shoot. I like mine even though accuracy sucks. soft point ammo for 7.62x54R under 150 is a butt to find. If your just shooting FMJ's you can buy it in bulk which is dirt cheap. Easy to customize and make it unique.
Who says? It can be, and that's where I can clearly see your disadvantage.
This guy has a clear advantage over you with the 7.62 x 54R cartridge, compared to the standard AK's 7.62 x 39 round. 7.62 x 54R is the best, most powerful Soviet round ever produced for the light machine gun. Nothing like that puny 7.62 x 39 Round you have for your SAR 1. :)
You are right They are not designed for Automatic, or Bump Fire, but it can and has been done. That is all I made this video for. I use my Romanian SAR-1 for bump fire. It's all for fun anyway so what's with all the hostilities?
Bloody hell that thing is a beast!
