how can anyone compare probably the #1 fusion guitarrist of all times with a mediocre rock guitarrist and say the last one is better technically?!!?, and it seems that he wasn't kidding...
I mean, you can prefer to listen to slash, that is perfect, I like guns'n roses too, but technically?!!??!?!?!

yeah slash truely knows his scale XD but thats all , allan has a much bigger musical understanding and knowledge ...but slash is fast in his pentatonic und dur scales...
its not hard to be fast in one or two scales ,so slashes job is much easier

MrGuitardudedism..... he doesnt used a bit of delay.....he uses for the clean sound like 8 multitap delays that were coming from the magistomp stomp, switch to Dg stomp and then back to ud stomp or magicstomp, cant rememberd.. ....in the lead sound he use a bit of delay but in the clean no.... Scott henderson talks about thoses settings in his forum....:)
now I see how he gets that certain tone at 02:28. He's holding the pick against his hand with his index finger to keep dropping it, while playing the strings with his thumb, forefinger, and ring finger. I always thought he did everything with a pick

To achieve his clean sound...just buy a Digitech Space station....its a similar sound and alot cheaper than a Yamaha Magnistomp!
