Jumping power has nothing to do with color of skin. It has to do with tendon, ligament, and muscle strength. Ape index measures the wingspan to height ratio. If you have a high ape index (ex. 1.1) you're generally going to have a higher vert than someone your height with a 1 to 1 ratio.

These guys probably have a 1 ratio, maybe even a bit less, which is why they can't jump well.
