In the recent update now, you can switch weapons as disguised, hopefully fooling the enemy. Press B after you switched between your Gun, sapper and Knife to switch through enemy's weapons.

You forgot "Medics are your healers."

Disguise as one of the enemy team, Call "Medic!" Or just act like your low health,

Use enemy medics to heal yourself, Instead of teammates healing you. They cover your blow if your on cloak.

Great Disguises : "Heavy, Soldier, Pyro."

Bad Disguises : "Spy, Medic, Scout."

If you disguise as scout, Medics are able to see if your speed is fast, Scouts are fast, Spy's have normal speed.

@Larmanful Actually, spies are fairly useful disguises. Heavies and Soldiers CAN be good disguises, but since you slow down when disguised as them they're not good all the time. Snipers are awesome disguises for hanging around the battlements and enemy snipers.

@Larmanful Actually, the Spy is a pretty good disguise cause the medic will see that yay we have a blue spy over here! Protect him and heal him cause spies can trick enemies. so, being a spy you can act weirdly. you can cloak, but not attack. when you got healed, go to your base and cloak. no, absolutely not. Doing so would be illegal. However I strongly recomend you buy the Orange Box for $30, which includes TF2. Also A new scout update is coming, all the more reason to buy

Probably should've noted the avoidance of using Scout costumes, as the lack of runspeed makes it pretty obvious.

Same goes for the Medic disguise for it's lack of an uber meter.

Lastly, you probably should have focused a little more on cloak strategies and management, as it's more useful in positioning than disguises are (due to rampant paranoia).

This is obviously a beginners guide because if ur good at spy u can kill an engineer when hes defending his building (sap stab, stab sap) and you can use good techniques on pyros to kill then with ease but all together its a good beginners one

You say here that disguising as friendly is good for scaring. But its also good to make the enemies think ur not a spy, and they thinks its safe from backstabs.

I find that the disguising as an enemy spy is also sometimes good, sometimes enemy's will be fooled by the fact that you can still do taunts when you're disguised.

I do that to uncloak safely. So if someone does see me they may think I'm just trying to get out of the line of fire.

I also like to use the Medic as a costume. only because they hardly ever have to shoot an actual gun and you see them running around all of the time. Very easy to impersonate.

well, I woudld have to disagree with you. when you're a medic, you have no uber charge symbol, so most people already know that you're a spy, and if they don't notice that, they'll notice you aren't healing anyone

Fixes include...

Making the Spy able to pass through enemies while cloaked, but thereby draining the cloak meter 2x.

Silencing the magnum with... a silencer.

un****ing the backstab thing. (somehow making it behave like normal melee weapons while still detecting the back and the animation)

Yes, leaping stab would make more since as the chapter title, but it you watched the video I don't think it effects how you do it. I don't understand what you mean by unreliable..
