yeah I shouldnt have cut the tongue open from the front on the leather.

but what I noticed when you brought up the bands was since i had a clean cut from the seam on the top of the tongue, i put the band on that seam. If I can get a way to sew the leather up, i can put the band in and put the sole over the band and it would be great to skateboard in!

yeah i think a stronger needle and some elbow greese will work or you can use somthing to poke through the seems of the leather or through the leather for that matter. i got o experiment now. its bothering me now!LOL

the problem is the tongue is leather. So when I was sewing it by hand the needle fucking snapped. LOL

all i can really say on leather tounges is just use a thicker needle and a thicker thread. you should have to go over the front of the tounge just the back of it like i did on the first dunk i did. u almost done though
