@TheDave9292 What game are you playing ? There are no missions in CK2. Have problems, go to the forums, register game, get all advice necessary.

Btw, this is the alpha or beta version. Much better now and great support by Paradox.

@XxxLocDog92xxX Well, you could say that I guess. CIV V had a horrible diplomacy system, and had a lot of area's to improve on. Whereas CKII has more RPG elements and tries to make it much more realistic, with many more diplomatic options. However, it loses out on other aspects, where the CIV series is much more dominant. It's all personal opinion really.

play total war you have everything from Diplomacy ,Real time battles, naval battles, turn based campaign map like this, everything it has you can also mod the game. just visit total war forum and check the mod section.

@SquareCrystal total war is awesome but not very strategic in terms of managing civilizations, just build farms trade, and raise armies, the same in RTS as stronghold crusader and other great RTS like age of empires for example

@SquareCrystal Yeah but can you assasinate your wife in Total War? Or kill your bastard half brother and inherit his duchy? There lots of possibilites in games like this, Total War games are great, but they dont have as much depth has Paradox Grand Strategy Games.

@mftionel21 without the tactical battles and trade system. CK2 tries to be a historical game with the feudal laws, so no simple warmongering. Family, inheritance, plots, getting claims(like cassius belli) to conquer, realm and inheritance laws, the whole feudal system.Like CK1 its the only game that is even fun loosing. But you can't just go and conquer, not simple as that. Btw, still love KoH as well.

@wakkaboom1987 Its a strategy game. Not a tactical game. Every character has specific traits that influence their actions and events. Importance with this game is dealing with your dynasty (bearing kids, loving your wife or your lover), relations of people and pope, getting the laws that suit you and using intrigue to achieve your goals.. Your a high-noble, there are more important things that matter. ;)

@stu3rm3r It's much better than HOI, and it has much less complex armies system. But diplomacy is much more complex because it recreates medieavel times, so if you want to ally someone you have to marry your daughter to some of his sons for an example :)
