OMG activision/infinity ward, you are fucking insane for making this mission sooooo insanely retarded. I thought that the last mission was cake compared to the running to the LZ BS. Seriously, who makes a lvl where you run getting shot from both sides, and die from a few shots. When you do finally make it, you still get killed anyway!? What is the point when you die so many times already? However, I think the clones in God of War are still harder on the hardest mode compared to a short distance.

after you get the dsm completed, go to the basement staircase and chuck a flashbang in the room and eliminate all of the enemies. get to the room in the basement which you breached (not the armory) and wait at the side of the door and killing the enemies that run through it. after you killed them all go to the armory and get WA2000 thermal sight and run out of the basement via the doorway which leads you to the lake bit. stick to the bank of the lake and stick with ghost. snipe the enemies

A good tip is to breach downstairs, there is less enemies and you will acces the armory instantly

This is definately not on veteran, you run through it far too easy, and your excuse of 'achievement shown at the end' is bullshit too because if you look at the trophy/achievement list all it says is 'Assult Makarov's safe house.' doesn't say anything about veteran.

I ended up up stairs when i stopped gaurding the intel stuff and got it, I cant get past the straight -.- Its impossible, I got all spec ops done and all the rest of veteran needs done and intel (intel is easy to get) then i would have gotten plat.. New psn account so ill try again.

when they are attacking the dsm, stand in that room and line up the back door and basement stairs and take guys out there. plant claymores at the front door and look there every once and a while as well. you should win like this

Or another way is to this: BEFORE the upload, re-load up on all your ammo. Then, plant claymores at different spots inside and outside the house, and especially around the drive. Then, start the download and let the claymores do some of the killing. Then, light up the rest of them. Once you've completed the download, wait for Roach, then go outside and downhill with him. It's easier to go at the rest with Roach, then all alone. Good Luck to you all!

This video doesn't show the difficulty of keeping the hard drive safe. It would be a different story if it was unedited. This level was so difficult on Veteran that I gave up the game for awhile and stuck to multiplayer. I'm so stoked that I finally got out of that damn house alive.

I cleared all the veteran missies the only level I think was hard was the cliffhanger.

But if you clear all the story mode missions on veteran you unlockthe INFINETY MUSEUM. pretty cool all the weapons of the game can be used and you can fight agains all the different enemies so its pretty cool

Awesome Vid, however Im at the last part where you run to the extraction, Guys are already piled up outside, as soon as I leave the house im getting tagged. I make it just out of the tree line beyound the house and Im dead. Eventually they overwhelm me. Any thoughts as to how to survive at that point? If I gun them down, I get flanked. If at any point I turn to gun them down in the rear they storm me from the front. Ive tried this one for hours.

stay with ghost, dont run off, and when u get to the hill do what this guy did. Run all the way to the left down the hill. Dnt get pissed it took me about 50 times to beat that last part and about an hour and a half of playing

that worked for me, i just say u gotta go across that pond then all the way to the metal fence and stay along that til u get to the spot where u can look down on the enemies right in front of the chopper then take ur time and pick em off then sprint til u get to the chopper

two more ways...grab a pistol if one is available, you will be able to sprint further. Grab some ammo and go slow killing everyone. I just checked the guide, it says pick off targets as they notice you on the way. So a silent weapon might help.

Hardest mission yet for me, Breaching the house was easy enough but getting to that god damb chopper. Got there in the end though, Tip never stop moving in the field. Make sure you have a few greande launchers too they help clear out the field.
