Talking Volumes: James Ellroy on mental clutter

I love Ellroy's works but have noticed in the last few yars all his interviews are spoken in this 'very deliberate. veeeery slow style...of speaking. which really.....drags out....the sentances.'

He sounds like he considers every word. Some people would take it as arrogance (maybe rightly so) but I think its great that he admits to owning his own books.
