I don't know what the hell I'm doing wrong, but when I try to attach a picture I can't seem to do it.

Does it have to be saved a certain way or named a certain way. This is really pissing me off.

@smwebster2 Look back at the video and make sure you copied everything exactly right. Also check and see if your picture is saved as .png, and is located in the same place as your .html file.

@smwebster2 try adding an "alt" attribute. It tells the browser text to display if the image isn't found. e.g img src="jimmyr.png" alt="Foo"

Optional:

Find your picture, right click "Open file location" , click the path bar in the window and copy it. Like this: C:\Users\example\Pictures\Bild­er\picture.jpg

Great tutorial, but I don't like notepad(++) for HTML.

Finding an editor was a bit of a struggle. I found (a few) freeware editors for Windows, but I found a great one after a long search and comparing called webstract studio. (search google) After playing a while with the demo I bought it for only €25. WOW!!! I seriously can recommend it to others. Just try it. You won't be disappointed. HAHAHA!!! I can even add colors to my project!!!

Then Copy The Link Of your Image From That Hosting Website And Paste it to the code.. @parkersoftmedia I had HTML training at my old job about 3 years ago. It sounds like CSS would be a better tutorial to view first rather than an HTML to avoid any of the outdated HTML codes that would hinder the more current CSS informations and instruction.

What I want to know is how I go about centering an image on my page. I'm talking center, center. When I use the CENTER tag it brings it to the top center. I want it dead middle, for any resolution but I don't know how to do it.

@justknowimkorean this is a thing you can only see from your computer, or any computer that has the saved file. Once you have fully designed your website then you need to get a domain name to have an actual website others can view.

@Catherineandherkids The reasons it's /foo.html is because that's what you saved it as, only you can view that. When you have finished your webdesign you'll need to get a domain name e.g .com .co.uk .org. They all cost. You can get free ones, just google it :)!
