The reason i remarked that you should've taken "luffy" out of your post is because One Piece isn't very popular in america compared to naruto (because of the crappy 4kids dub),

so i think it's fair that he should try and break even by winning this race don't you think?

One Piece is an awesome series anyway, i always read every weekly chapter on onemanga(dot)com, and almost every chapter is epic.
