  • Money

  • GIMME!

  • GORRILAZ! :D

  • i think the headstock is more dragonish and why have a 0 fret? iv seen them on older guitrar but why not just bring the nut forward? great guitar by the way

  • @ht448 The fretboard we bought came like that. We didn't have a nut that fit, and I figured a metal zero fret would have more sustain.

A dragon? Yea, I guess! Pretty cool observation.

  • I'll buy it, I need something for the new album. lol

  • dude sweet

  • Whats the third little run you did?

  • @bill1591 I kinda made that one up. Can't exactly "name that tune" that one. lol.

  • @LeftyCenter Well it sounded awesome.

  • i think u look like the guy from knocked up and pineapple express

  • Nice bass! I like the pick guard, and the headstock looks killer!

  • Money:) great song.

  • "not much of a bassist" I think your pretty good :)

  • where can i get p-bass pick-ups?

  • @traumajr Try ebay.

  • cool man.. good job,

how much did the whole project cost you??

  • Not to be a downer but you play bass with two fingers dude!

  • Is there any problems with the action or tension?

  • @Nick5379 Not to my knowledge. (it's been sitting in joe's basement for awhile so I'm not entirely sure)

  • the second tune was feel good inc by the gorrilas

  • how much did it cost u?

btw, really nice made dude, keep up the good work

  • I think everything added up to about $200.

  • cool. How much time did u spend making it?

    (just really curious :p)

  • I don't really remember how many hours. Rough estimate: probably 20-25.

  • lol badass but i would cut the head off of that nail XD

  • But then it wouldn't look like a nail anymore! lol.

  • sup yo i was wondering if u could give me any tips im planning to build a bass for a friend of mine any help would u would be doin me a great favour

  • That actually sounds deece dude

  • BADASS WHERE CAN I GET ONE

  • I made this one, bro.

  • no.1, money: pink floyd

    no.2 fell good inc: gorilaz

    no.3desperado alice cooper?

    no.4 sumthin by weezer?

  • 1 and 2 are correct. 3 and 4 are actually stuff from my band ;-)

  • joes the name of the bassist in my band

  • hahaha. i am the bassist in a band, and my name is joe. awesome :D

  • could i use a bass guitar on a regular amp or do i need to get a bass amp because i want a bass and i could get a old one from a freind a that i could use the parts to make and thats a nice bass

  • Yeah for sure. It might not sound AS good as a bass amp, but it'll work just fine.

  • im not sure if its that basses dont work in guitar amps, or vice versa, but go ahead and plug it in and if your amp breaks you'll know for sure

  • I've definitely played basses thru guitar amps and guitars thru bass amps and nothing bad has ever happened. If something bad did happen, it would probably an exception to the rule. Maybe if like you had a high-output bass going into a guitar amp at full volume and the amp had weak tubes or something? I don't know.

  • I know that generally, as a rule, one of those two is a big no-no.

Its not garunteed to blow your amp up first time everytime though.

Its just not healthy for the life of the amp.

  • Regular guitar in a bass amp is generally fine. My father and all his brothers played their first guitars through bass amps. The other way should work fine at low volume, but stuff starts getting wonky once you turn things up

  • if doyle from the misfits uses a guitar on a bass amp... i think its reversable...

  • wat was the third song

  • cool stuff man. I made my bass but i made it all out of after market fender parts. Sounds good.

  • why don't you try to make a guitar that looks like a big viking sword or sumthin? that would be so awesome

  • I heard feel good inc.

and also, lazy? bass? I think I would get along with this person.

  • Inspiring. Great job.

  • Su-weet!

  • It sounds good but a tone knob is easy to add

  • Yeah, I've put a tone knob on my other guitar. Joe didn't want a tone knob because he leaves his tone knobs at 10, which is the same sound with no tone knob.

  • hey dude, do you think its possible to make a bass out of a electric guitar, i mean, just put 4 bass strings on it. Cuse i want a bass but im not gonna waste cash on it as i just bought a electric guitar

  • I don't thnik so..

the scale would be way too short :S

  • thats too bad

  • A nail as a nut...thats weird. I would never think that would work. Cool Work/Creation.

  • first tune is money by pink floyd.

  • money and feel good inc are the first two. cool bass too.

  • nice sound for a homemade guitar

  • money....it's a gas.

haha nice choice of songs, pc!

  • SWEET AS! im making a bass at the moment. did you make it from scratch or use an old body. i think im gonna use my old guitar body but i might build my body.

  • Build it! You can pick any shape you want, be creative! Think outside the box :)

  • siick

  • Like it. It sounds like the bass used in the good old Descent soundtracks.
