Free energy is finaly here! But a few ppl make too many billions from our energy needs to let this technology be known,Find this technology at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Big change is comming soon!
personally i am sooooo sick of hearing about all this flight 1549 crap. the guy successfully belly landed a plane in the hudson. well done lets move on with our lives.
I mean wtf is wrong with you!?!?!? i talk to all the birds and i ask them, how the fuck do u not see a big ass plane crossing your pathway!!!!??!?!?!?!?
I thought of systems which could counter this situation and the best idea would be sensors on the aircraft itself. The idea came from the sonar on ships and submarines and the use it to avoid underwater situations. I would reccomend using infrared system tracking heat concentration around the plane and would be placed infront of the wing but due tothe speed of the plane I dont know how well it will work.
Almost all of these plane-bird collisions take place no greater than 5 minutes before or after a plane has landed or taken off respectively. Most of the birds that pose a threat are close to the ground and will be the greatest threat between these time periods.
Commuter planes dont fly supersonic at all while military planes dont fly supersonic close to the ground. So infrared is probably a better option.
i was thinking some type of mesh cones over the engines, which wouldnt block air flow but still prevent birds or any other debris from being sucked in to the engines..but there would have to preventative measures to ensure the ice build up at high elevations would be mininal..
I've considered the same idea. The problem is that a 500 gram bird impacting a surface at 200km/h+ has a tremendous amount of force. If you were to build a mesh screen, it would have to be incredibly strong. To be strong enough, it would be very heavy. Another problem is the small bits of bird that make it through the mesh and get into the engine could still cause a severe problem.

isnt sonar not sound, and some planes fly faster than sound and it wouldn't work that well, but the infra red thing could work
