  • its harder to lift with both his knuckles facing the same way so thats really good

  • Woah nice man!! Good Job!

  • Good lift

  • how long have u started deadlifting? have you developed any knee pain?

  • ONLY FAGS USE WRIST WRAPS

  • @126ibew wrong have you seen olympic weightlifters? but don't worry youre not stupid youre just ignorant.

  • I actually come back to this clip every so often to see some more blind, tall poppy syndrome hate. Person in the video sacrificed a tiny bit of form to punch out 16 reps at 500lbs while the people in the comments section would need a forklift to lift that weight on any exercise.

  • @ichater word

  • Those are good examples of sumo deadlifts. If you are trying to give this guy advice, you are an idiot. If you are asking why he isn't doing Romanian deadlifts, you are an even bigger idiot. If you are warning him about ending up in a wheelchair, you are the biggest idiot of all.

  • thats not 500 btw its 495

  • @jeted1205 there are 2.5s. its 500

  • i had a bad feeling that his is going to hit his toes with the weights..

  • Its called a sumo deadlift u idiots! Better to say nothing and be thought a fool, than open your mouth and prove it!

  • good lift bro. fuck the haters talking shit u killed it. all the idiots giving advice.... LOL at them

  • ur doing it sowrong

  • @MoosieCoverz nah he's not brah

  • @UnrealSnipa every time he bounces the weight like that he compresses his spine lol

  • @MoosieCoverz so whats wrong with that

  • @MoosieCoverz yea looks like hes not using his legs and his legs are spread far so he dosent have to go down that much :/

  • i was hoping the weight would fall on his feet with his legs that far apart! Awful form!

  • It's cool that you can do this but as a power lifter myself, I know that showing off is only going to result in an injury. Don't bend your back so much when you do these or you could really hurt it, believe me. I thought I was done in my last competition.

  • Have fun in your wheel chair in the later years.

  • Why not deadlift with proper form? This seems ridiculously stupid to me.

  • Nice bounces, it's called deadlifts for a reason.

  • @havochavoc2 good thing i deadlift properly. :) You probly are one of those guys who bench presses like 10 inches off chest cuz its a "bad for shoulders to touch bar with chest"

  • @Jessemays313 i usually dont bench press actually. if i do its to the chest and paused

  • @Jessemays313 it's bad for your back AND shoulders to touch bar at your chest while benching.

  • Wow i straight leg 425 today and it was easy. But the bar got up a whole 3 feet off the ground. Theres no way youd lock that out standing straight. The bar didnt go up a foot plus you bounced it. In my opinion thats pretty half ass.

  • @Jessemays313 good thing your opinion matters

  • @luke53285

as opposed to the videos that you have put up of you deadlifting?

    keyboard warrior.

  • @pfobchris of course, he is an internet warrior, haha

  • sumo definently doesn't count, the technique is completely different and is made to assist a regular dead lift. people who post shitty videos like this are just stupid

  • @luke53285 thanks for the sound advice

  • Just thought that needed a bump

  • @Hummm86 thanks

  • wow astonishing range of motion, your muscles must have worked extremely hard for that 1" lift

  • @SelfIndignation yes, i was fatigued by the end

  • Great pullin dude.

  • You like the converse for squats/deads? Bout to buy some vibrams, any advice?

  • @rclewis1 not a fan of vibrams. converse shoes or wrestling shoes for deadlifts - flat, solid and close to the ground. the same or olympic shoes for squats - depends on your squat stance or style

  • Absolutely phenomenal! What is your bodyweight bro?

  • the reason this video is rated so bad is because of what?!

  • @pokerchobo because all the internet gurus know so much

  • Lolol, before you crtique this guy, try doing that yourself. Most of you criticizing him should probably start at about 4 plates instead of 10...

  • That is so not good for your back....

  • @Seriksy yes, its bad for your knees i hear

  • Pretty good job, what can you do in a normal stance?

  • @itchybo510 done 650 conventional recently

  • @itchybo510 see other videos - 650

  • anyone who chirps this is jealous and probably deadlifts 135, this is badass...

  • awsome job! everybody hating on this video obviously lacks knowledge and should educate them selfs further cause that was impressive

  • Absolute animal!

  • pretty wide sumo be careful with pulling a groin, little bouncy...still solid tho! whats your 1 RM?? gotta be over 7!

  • There's nothing "wrong" with touch and go, its just that it would be fair if it was declared in the description. There's no need to be extremely picky, just state, that it was touch and go, and not a "dead"lift. Even fucking Wendler says touch and go if you want, "dead"lift if you want, the choice is yours. I prefer to start every rep from a dead start, but other lifters don't. By the time you're repping 500pounds, you've already got your technique engraved in muscle memory anyway. Get over it.

  • @Il0veToFU life isn't fair. get over it

  • @havochavoc2 Mate, I wasn't criticising, monster effort. I was trying to hush the "hurr durr bouncing the weight" guys. I guess I came across wrong.

  • lol everyones a critic, goodjob man!

  • I want someone to try to drop 500 pounds and see how much it "bounces" lol....look at the Olympics when those guys are cleaning over 500 pounds when they drop the bar it hits the ground and sticks like a bag of bricks and those guys are using rubber plates lol.....come on people stop discrediting people for a very impressive lift

  • @hzlwdcntrlftbll didn't you know it bounces like a basketball

  • like 500 pounds will "bounce" lol...

good job dude but damn were you getting close to your right foot and that last rep was sketchy as hell... could have been bad.

  • luckily u didnt crush your feet

  • So...many...retards. Good lift though

  • that looks like its really good for your back

  • @UnbelievableKush dealifts done right dont hurt your back at all.

  • @sjjdiienno1 ya but ur not supposed to lift with your back thats what im trying to say

  • @UnbelievableKush it is good for your manhood. one day maybe you can do some

  • @havochavoc2 i dont think that would make me any more of a man then i already am lifting weights dont make you tough buddy

  • Sumo, but still heavy. Nice Chucks.

  • haters gonna hate

  • @ChronoTriggerMusic hatorade

  • Chuck Taylors, Thumbs up.

  • i wish my gym played beatley stuff

  • Those are bad

  • rename the video "500 for 0 reps deadlift"

  • No matter what anybody says, this IS impressive. There are zillions of ways and purposes. But (these serious) powerlifters should never forget to mention the body weight and height in the description. The shorter and the heavier you are, the easier things go. This guy's not very heavy and definitely 16 x 500 is tough for that height/weight combination using ANY style and going ANY distance from the floor. This guy did PROPER 630 or more at a competition. Great effort. (My PB only ~400@~147/5'8")

  • @jakubkrcma thanks man

  • haha epic ending I always feel like that when I get done with dead lift good job my max right now and im 16 is 500 1 time you made it look easy

  • This IS a correct form of deadlift! Shut the fvck up phaggots and look up sumo deadlift.

  • go learn to deadlift with ronnie coleman lmfao... sure u did lift but for like 10 centimentres lol sucked, nt tho

  • @ninorato did ronnie teach you grammar too?

  • Wtf

  • Why does this video have so much bad votes?

It is a perfect sumo-deadlift set (clean technique, flat back, tight body).

And by the way, the first rep was made entirely without bounce, so why should there not be done a single deadlift?

  • sick shoes bro....

  • Umm this was my max when i was in 10th grade...

  • @TheCaciqueLempira cool story bro

  • @matdavelack Yea it is aint it? stick to your Frisbee throwing! Trolll

  • @TheCaciqueLempira cool. you must be over 1000 lbs by now

  • shitty form, solid strength

  • @OrangeGummiBar thanks gummibar

  • so if those arent sumo deadlifts, which is says in the description, what are they?

  • Those are not deadlifts at all, kudos for the effort but not even close bro.

  • @alderopop look up different forms of deadlift idiot. lololol

  • @alderopop thanks. maybe you can tell me what they are?

  • here? even one hundred was it???

  • тут хотя бы сотка была???

  • @SeregaLK 500lbs = primerno 220kg

  • @SeregaLK ?

  • correct me if im wrong, but i thought you weren't supposed to lock your knees like that at the end!

  • @drstunna829 It's actually called a lockout and is required in power lifting competitions for the lift to be good

  • @drstunna829 nope - its bad for them

  • 390 pussy farts cant even deadlift 500

  • 99% of the people hating on this video that are hating cant even lift 500 lbs once

  • sumo's are cheating imo

  • Now that is so not good for you back...

  • @Seriksy Ya dont say... Building muscle on back isn't good for you?

  • @Seriksy its good for your abs though

  • it's called a deadlift because you are lifting dead weight not bouncing it. And before you hate yes I can bounce this but only 4 times

  • @ViolentObesity is that why it is a deadlift? maybe i should call them bounce lifts?

  • awesome job. Bouncing was NOT that bad. and who cares if he's doing it sumo? How many reps can you get pulling 500 in sumo stance? Major props. How tall are you btw?

  • @Accipiter22 5'8''

  • @havochavoc2 your going to fuck your back up doing deadlift :/

  • @vMicahs people dont fuck their back up because they deadlift. they fuck their back up because they dont know what they are doing and usually over train causing injury.

  • @vMicahs LOL where'd you hear that from? If Deadlifts fuck up your back then I assume you think that Barbell Rows, Hyperextensions, 1-Arm Dumbell Rows, etc also do the same. Don't do bench, cause that totally fucks up your chest. And Squats...oh man let's not get started. Basically if people are doing them, and if there are competitions for them, then if you train yourself properly you won't get injured.

  • @vMicahs

You don't know anything about deadlifting. Rather than get into a pointless conversation with you, I suggest you read Rippetoe on the technique of the deadlift.

  • @Accipiter22 he was 6' when he started, 5'8" at the end

  • @Accipiter22 hahah was someone haveing a shitty about sumo stance wat a joke haha sumo and standing up right are both prefect to do its about how ur body likes it hahahaha lol stuipd ppl

  • @Accipiter22 DUDE THANK YOU THEY ARE CALLED SUMO DEADLIFT AND THE GUYS WHO SAID NOT A SINGLE DEADLIFT WAS DONE, I WANNA SEE DO ONE

  • @samuelsanchez2010 good lifts man... just remember as a bodybuilder you should NEVER LOSE CONTROL.

  • @Accipiter22 Yes I think people are very quick to critique form if it isn't perfect. Sometimes I think it's warented but in this case I think it's simple tall poppy syndrome. The guy has good conditioning levels and is pulling 500 for 16 reps... it's very impressive no matter how you look at it.

  • lolstraps

  • Good job for except the fact you held your hands wrong .

  • @aecw2000 you can over grip, under grip, or both. That doesn't matter. Most PLs do one hand over and one under because it's easier, not because its proper. In fact he must have really strong forearms to do that grip.

  • @PKnSTUFF he is using straps you dumb...

  • its 500 pounds and this guy literally throws it up over 10 times, all the haters needs to STFU

  • its 500 pounds and this guy throws it up over 10 times, all the haters needs to STFU

  • @PcostaDaddy yep

  • Only one deadlift in that video, he bounced every other rep

  • @gammooo Bounce 500 pounds????? stfu, try 2 bounce that weight once you retard..

  • @gammooo i tried to bounce the first one but couldn't

  • you scare me when you lock your knees out

  • @MacGasco i had the same fear as you while lisening to that vid lool

  • @Tzenjin True, but 16 great Sumo Deadlifts SAS done

  • @Jason96Ramnarine Reas the desc, and if you still dont understas... Google "Sumo deadlift".

  • I was just waiting for one of your feet to be under the weight.

  • this is a one way tickey to snap your shit up

  • @DrMcDangles That's good man, that's real good!

  • Well done but doesnt that put alot of negative preasure on you spine

  • pretty fucking crazy

  • it's called a sumo deadlift you idiots. still a deadlift

  • why r his feet/legs so far apart, it should be shoulders width apart, thats cheating

  • @Jason96Ramnarine its called a sumo deadlift dumbfuck

  • Weak as shit.

  • People need to put up or shut up, well done! Legit reps, the ONLY thing anyone could say is that you are strapped in, but who cares!? Badass work man!

  • your body is going to be fucked soon pal, if you're lucky enough to have aboided injury up until this point, you're a lucky guy, i'd correct your technique on touch and go lifting now to further avoid injury.

  • Lookin beast man .great pulls ..I cant see how ya work in that stance...doesnt it hurt your knees?? Does it make it easier that way with not having to lift the weight as much distance as shoulder width stance?

  • why does everyone think they know something about powerlifting. Sumo does not allow you to lift heavier. the two stances work better or worse for different people. The world record so for was a conventional deadlift as well sooooo. This guy is probably a lot stronger than you will ever be unless you wise up

  • if the bar aint bendin, ur just pretendin :q

  • Not a single deadlift was done that day.

  • @Tzenjin looks like he is bout to do a split lol

  • @Tzenjin

Even if you are not counting the 15 touch and go reps, the first was obviously a deadlift, which makes your post completely fucking retarded.

People like you make me want the world to end in 2012.

  • @Tzenjin you're dumb lol

  • @Tzenjin You're right lol forget about whatever other replies you get

  • @Tzenjin Yeah bounch lifths with those "lift bandages" sorry dont know english word :D I can do same clean without bounches!!

  • @Tzenjin can you do it better you fucker? and you 53 people.. can you do better?? i dont think that ANYONE of you could do it....

    nice work dude :)

  • @Tzenjin do you even lift phaggot?

  • that's awesome, love the effort. strong dude. check out my channel for some more good vids.

  • No matter what stance he using he is still a fucking unit.

  • You should attempt a 1000lb deadlift.

  • lose the straps, stop bouncing off floor, and switch to conventional stance. then we might be impressed.

  • @IRONJOEPAWLOWSKI like to see you do the same as he did in the vid ya little puss

  • @bearhardman i will. just have to make sure i don't get called for a double dribble

  • @IRONJOEPAWLOWSKI that's hilarious -_-

  • Watch your foot!

  • Awesome

  • are ppl seriously complaining? Hes form is fucking perfect

  • Thanks, just wondered as I thought it may hit certain areas more than others. Cheers again!

  • What are the benefits of the sumo stance? This is not me being a hater or a dickhead, I am genuinely curious.

  • @dannydocwra1991 it depends on your physiology, you have to try both to find out what fits your better. nevertheless, best deadlifts, as far as i remember, were all done in classic stance, not sumo.

  • Very Nice Man! It looks like you stronger as you started doing your reps. Question, How do Sumo's compare to Romanian dead lifts regarding Shin Scrape?

  • What's with the stomp up to the bar? I just about pissed myself laughing.

  • definitely very impressive...can't understand why someone would hate on this...

  • I bounce it when I'm in the gym. Big deal. The only thing I saw wrong was the wrist straps...

  • why does people diss this guy o.O he did a great job! whats wrong with it??? o.O

  • lol the fall was funny and kinda ohh shit but bro great lifts ..check out bigswole52 let me know

  • don't see why so many people are dissing this guy. i deadlift 600 and don't see anything wrong with this other than a little bounce, but who gives a sh*t.

  • doing the first few reps far too quick.. impressive nonetheless but im sure you have much better technique on a lower weight.

  • say goodbye to your back

  • What a dumbass, seriously...
