  • Next time you know you will get into a fight... Wear some fucking protection to the fucking balls and knees..

  • You can pick this apart all day if you want, its a good tactic that gives someone OPTIONS!!! No technique in a fight is a sure thing, training like this opens your mind to all the different vulnerabilities of your opponent. If it works in a real fight, great! If not then adapt and then do something else that you've trained in. All of you armchair critics make me laugh....

  • wrong, again, if you do this you only see the knees of your opponent, staying in a very vulnerable position due the opponent is on top.

  • Again this technique assumes too many things. That he'll follow straight at you for one. If you had time to throw that punch you had time to stand instead of putting your head where he can grab it and bring that knee to your face. He's not going to be holding a focus pad on the street. He's gonna be looking for his next target. This is classic self defense teaching vs actual martial arts, which do not allow any recourse for the attacker. This stuff will get cops killed.

  • Awful advice...You don't want to get into a swinging match when you are down like that....roll back then Shoot a double. Self Defense/fighting isn't about finishing blows it is about position. and punching someone in the knee wont get you good position. they will respond by punching you in the side of the head... o.O

  • This is where principle beats techniques. The principle is to strike from where you are, in this case the ground. Don't waste time by standing up before you strike, strike from where you are.

  • @Hanses0 It's Krav Maga. Everything is necessary for your defense. I'd rather punch a man in the weakest point of his body and give me time to run or finish him. Rather than me being pummeled and injured. So you can say hitting in the nuts is gay. Or a strategic way to disable your opponent. Problem?

  • very good demo. technically sound and practical. I'd love to see next how to defend from a kick attack from that position after the roll. that seems like a very practical follow up attack if an assailant is able to throw you to the ground like that.

  • with a kick don't block it but sweep your arm under the on comming kick to catch or sweep it up and stand up as he falls backwards

    But also is a drill where more the one of your follower training partners are trying to slowly kick and stomp you as you play with creative ways to roll or spin your body out of the way with out trying to stand up or block.Remember this is creative drill work your creativity will have its reward .But you need to go slowly at first to be creative. Geometry!

    a creative for you.might be have your other training partners SLOWLY kick and stomp at you from every direction.You SLOWLY and calmly come up with creative ways to roll around on your back,side,belly and spin like a monkey with out blocking or standing up

    Remember this is a creative but perhaps one life saving drill.

    It is all about geometry.
