Sure we have. His name is Alan Webb. I'd say that Webb and Moore are the two most talented high school track runners in US history. (Webb went :47, 1:47, 3:53 in high school)

@tangwich1 Long story short, he was running a lot faster than his body could handle at the time. Injuries caught up with him, he couldn't get into college, got involved with drugs, and went through a lot of low points in his life after trying more than once to make a comeback. Sad, really. We have yet to see a runner with his talent.
