  • @JDogDrums Funny how punks like you shut the fuck up when they live 10 straight years fighting a war for the blood thirsty war machine. Grow a pair, you're the one that's sitting behind a screen talking shit, so have some respect you hypocritical cunt.

That's besides the point, the educated class usually ends up getting the top jobs and influencing the political environment, triggering financially fueled wars and covering them up with bullshit excuses that fools like you buy without thought.

  • USMC are based on the Royal Marines. If you look back to the American Revolution, the entire colonial military was based on that of the British, obviously they would be because of they were after all, colonies of Britain. Around this time the USMC was formed, based on that of the Royal Marines formed over 100 years before. The colonial regular military of the time was almost a carbon copy of the Brits, right down to the uniforms(except for the colour of course). But Big respect To The Lads

  • Good effort lads!

From across the pond, future royal marine

    OORAH!

  • hehehe marine panties

  • Fucking yanks really don't have a clue, that comes from personal experience not just hear-say. Although they are nice guys really they're not mentally prepared we ended up carrying most of there kit on a simple 12 mile tab!!!

  • @gazatr0n *their.

You take of mental preparedness, and I'm assuming you're freakin' English, yet you can't even write the damned language!

And I know your return argument, "Spwelling haz nuthang to do with teh battelfeeld." So save it.

  • @Dune571 Don't talk to me about spelling you utter moron. Top tip revise your first line. Yes I did talk about LACK of mental preparedness, and your point is?

Also yes I'm English, therefore I withhold all rights to do what the fuck I like with my language.

  • Look at those zombies.

  • so much heel striking!

  • Anyone find it funny that the brits are talking trash to the people that kicked their asses in every war we've fought in against them hahaha :P

  • one war where you fought against hessian mercenarys.

  • SOME were hessian mercenaries, MOST were brits lol. Regardless, it was England who we fought against and we kicked their asses...

  • most were hessiens some were english.

also its pretty onbious but i should point out the fact.

YOU WERE ENGLISH TOO. back in that war anyway. so english armies beating half english army is what you come to expect. seeing as england > all.

also we cared more about killing the french as we usually do and they were your allies and pretty much equipped and supplied 90% of your armies.

you are quick the mock the french but they are pretty much the reason you exist.

  • lol I really don't feel like arguing on christmas but what the hell. I was actually irish back then and there were plenty of different races back then so idk lol. And no, the french did not supply "90% of our armies" hahaha the french didn't even enter the war until we won at saratoga, even then they only really made a difference at the battle of Yorktown which was the final official battle of the war lol. English or not, the US still defeated England lol. i'm guessing you failed history haha

  • @poonkinator u beat us by numbers..ur standards arnt as high as british so u just fuckin swarm us with ur many troops, while our highly trained troops still battle out numbered, i also find it funny that u fuckin yanks have to start a fucking argument on the internet. if you came 2 britain and did that ud get ur skull kicked in hahaha :P

  • @meatyspudpies lol really in the rev. war we beat you with our numbers? I'm pretty sure we had half the amount of troops as you did...didn't even have an ally until the very end of the war...and I wasn't starting an argument...just pointing out a flaw in all ur arguments lol

  • You stupid fucks were on the same side.

Oh and stephen... "royal mariens training is like a private school" ... You must have dropped out?

  • they work with themselves mainly but are called in for escape and evasion hopefulls..they track the potential sas/sba guys down over a 7day period but the para's also do the same job. the gurkhas are one of he best trackers in the world, especially in the jungle..our sas learnt many tricks off them in the jungles of brunei and borneo

  • americans do think theyre the best...theyre not though...they just have more manpower and a heck of a lot more money...but i do have to admit theyre marines are quite good as ive worked alongside them and done a survival exercise with them..but u cant beat the small force of our marines, para's ,gurkhas, sbs and sas...i mean we trained deltaand theyre the best america has..although they are big massive steroid abusing yanks il give them there due

  • tagmandan the RM is more of a SF unit. there number only totals about 5,000 you want to compare try comparing Marine Force Recon/MARSOC

  • Thats not basic training. they get trained way more intensely, stupid brits

  • Oh yeah your U.S Marines came to Lympstone to test out the famous endurance course with the RM's anmd guess what they didnt even get 1/4 way through it haha your people really do need to pick up the standards!

  • aha... elliotts4 and dynamic108

    your both funny bastard! :L

    ENGLAND ALL THE WAY;)

  • Cheers, its the truth though lol

  • Oorah

  • running and singing at the same time damages you body. retarded Americans .

  • jajaja fuck theyre slow

  • It's because there are so many people running in formation. You wouldn't know, I suppose?

  • yep ive run in formations way much bigger than this one... and not as slow

  • You don't get to see the end of the formation, silly. :\ How do you know how many are there?

  • silly?? thats gay!! jajaja... no indeed i cant see the end of the formation.. but my formation broke the guinness record so i doubt that theirs is bigger

  • Oh, okay. I bet you guys were also running a 2 minute PFT.

  • you only need speed when you are running away from the enemy

    and Marines never run

  • I stay behind with my rifle lol. My very first pft in basic I ran a 28:30 I know pathetic. But i averaged 21-22 min when I got to the fleet.

  • Unless they are U.s Marines, and they run from their own men because of the friendly fire that you bawjaws create

  • Thats because they are obese Americans

  • lol try it with 35kg + weapon 8 miles up and down 45% hills in under 2 hwrs then go on 2 do a apwt.

and that's just 4 the British territorial army riffles(not evan full time solders) minimum leval

  • we do 35 lbs 12 miles at night through hills in under 3 hours the very first day of ranger indoctornation

  • Do you get stress cards in ranger school too? What about your cell phone, ipod and lap top? Army training must be nice. I took my social security card, liscense and the clothes on my back to USMC recruit training. Force recon > Ranger.

  • @mahctek1990 what is this talk about stress cards? you dont get that shit in the army. every branch had those during the clinton era for like a freakin month including the Marine Corps

  • THESE ARENT ROYAL MARINES FFS

    fucking american marines

  • Comment removed

  • Who cares? You're making us look bad as Americans. I'm a Navy Nuke. Learn some respect.

  • Comment removed

  • A better record? Since when did your Empire include half the world? How many countries have YOUR flag on THEIR flag. No thought not, fuck off

  • in the 19th century Britain had the biggest empire ever. not half the world though, it was about a third.

  • yeh your obviously not in the military are you? Retard, well said Gawdlm Tom.

  • Ya dude the royal marines are badass. Good choice if you want to go with the elite. Their bootcamp is crazy!

  • very good choice aswel

  • hahaha Alright cause I was kinda lost there for a sec... Anyways the PFT ain't shit the minimum is like 3 pull ups and 50 sit ups and run 3 miles within 28mins... They ain't really shit but a nice workout... Anyways thanks for the info you been a huge help...

  • thats the requirement BEFORE going to bootcamp

  • Still.... 3 pull ups, 50 Sit ups, 3 mile run within 28mins = Nothing

  • true

    i cant wait!

  • Motivators focus on the maximum. If you want to focus on the mininum; join another branch.

  • no one here is focusing on the minimum... Plus I heard a lot of different story's about "Motivators" and most of them have nothing to do with pushing you to the maximum... More of a keeping the same pace for amount of time... Some type of mental shit this guy (marine) was telling me...

  • "Still.... 3 pull ups, 50 Sit ups, 3 mile run within 28mins = Nothing "

you sure? Motivators excel my pushing themselves and in return... motivate others. By all means, once you can easily do 20 dead hang pull ups, 100 usmc crunches in 2 mins, and run 3 miles in 18 mins, than talk all the trash you want. Just remember, a high pft is only the base line to get into even tougher training.

  • first off buddy no one here was talking trash, didn't the usmc teach you at least how to keep your cool?... Are you even a MARINE? also i love how you talk about the perfect pft score like you done it or something... wow if this child could learn this much on youtube, just think.... ....what if he went outside!!!!!! dun dun duuuuuuuuun!!!!!!! have a nice day!

  • Such tough talk on youtube; I'm impressed.

  • Is this the speed they actually run at during their daily runs?..

  • This is not a daily run, TrueToonKilla. This is a motivational run, sorta like a dog-and-pony show for the tons of civilians that come out to see their precious babies become Marines.

On the runs that you run only with your platoon and your drill instructors, you are left so terribly pushed past your limit that you feel that if you lie down to rest, you may very well never get back up. Or maybe that was just me when I went through... ROFL!

  • hahaha damn sounds like fun! But when your in the marines and you go off to do your morning run is this the kinda pace they want you to go at? or is it more of a sprint?

  • Depends on who's leading the run. If you've got a PT stud for an NCO, you can bet that every run will be like a bootcamp run. But if you have a laid-back I-don't-like-to-run-either type NCO leading, then moto runs are about as fast as your runs will ever get. You want a PT Stud for an NCO, though, because once you're in the fleet, a lot will be riding on whether or not you can do well on a PFT.

  • its quite simple-

who can hump the largest load the fastest for the longest and then assault an enemy that outnumbers them and then hold on until the cavalry arrives.....all without artillery, naval gunfire or other support

    the paratrooper

  • Whatever, that's bullshit. I'd love to see you prove that.

  • proof 1) brit para selection = must pass the following events

    10 miler

carrying 35lb bergen and a rifle, to be completed in 1 hour 50 minutes or under

    Trainasium

An assault course on scaffolding designed to test a candidate's head for heights

    Log Race

    8-man team carrying a 60kg log over 1.9km

    contd.

  • proof contd.

    2 Mile March

carrying 35lb bergen, food, water and a rifle, to be completed in 18 minutes or under

    Steeplechase

1.8 mile cross-country course featuring water obstacles and an assault course

    Milling

Milling tests if the recruit as the aggression and determination required of a Paratrooper. Recruits must aggressively pummel their opponent whilst wearing boxing gloves and head guard.

  • Endurance March

20 miles carrying 35lb bergen, water, food and a rifle, to be completed in 4 miles or under (TA recruits do not do the endurance march)

    Stretcher Race

16-man teams carry a 175 lb stretcher over 5 miles

once they pass this -they do this & much harder runs & marches as part of their job in battalion

  • proof 2) this is their job description, this is what they do- they must have the physical & mental attributes to complete that job

paras battle honours have shown they have lived up to this statement

  • Semper fi!

  • Semper Fi

  • whats semper fi mean?

  • its latin: Semper Fidelis, Always Faithful

  • give me that good old marine core spirit

  • Those runs are painful, slow and miserable on the knees....Speed it up, a good 8 minutes a mile pace for 13 will straight them out...then again I was in the Army.

  • lol thats the run they do with the family on the sides watching, its not meant to be a workout, they do it before the graduation

  • HAHA

  • i love these kind of runs:)

  • Hey my names Dustin :D im a MCJROTC Cadet Sergeant atm but im enlisting into the Marines in about a year ^_^

    SEMPER FI
