Im right there with ya folks. I was forced into retirement after 30 years with Verizon because of a disability.
I was referred to Legg-Mason (now Smith Barney) where an advisor bought 100,000 gm bond with my 30 year pension funds. I paid 104.91 on the dollar.
I am alone and disabled, and I know that I cannot get by on just my social security, I also know what happens to old women on the street.
I know what I must do, but I am so afraid.
Why didn't Obama consider us?
