  • get a wirless controler for it from a ps2 because it is the same as a ps1 thats what i did with the one i did its alot beter

  • noticed this was uploaded on christmas

  • nice macbook

  • What is the pinout connecting the ps2 controller to the arduino

  • @possum19901990. Like the title says this is "Building" an Internet controlled RC car. I'm still working on everything and have school work and other projects to worry about so its kind of slow going.

I have decided on how to make the "Internet Controlled" part though. On the rc car will be an Android phone connected to a VPN, which my laptop will also be connected to. Then by sending UDP packets to the IP of the phone, the phone can echo said messages via bluetooth to the Arduino.

  • i have a question can we see you drive

  • @ajstyrer I'm still working on that part. My old motor controller was apparently a dud so I have purchased a new one. It's in the mail and should be here tomorrow. I will upload a new video once I have more running.

  • @smleimberg does it work with the ps3 controller cuz i have a ps3 i am just asking

  • @student71901. It could but it would require very different much more complex code. The reason I use a PS2 controller instead of a PS3 controller because of how simple it is to implement. With the PS2 controller you simply wire it up & import a library into the Arduino code and print out the states of the buttons and analog sticks. Its surprisingly simple. The PS3 controller would require me to buy a bluetooth or USB host either for the PC or the Arduino & then write code for their interfaces.

  • @smleimberg does it work on any rc car cuz mine is a: New Bright 458 italia Ferrari very old and kinda sux pretty slow since i relaced the motor lol

  • @ajstyrer. Just an update. As I told @possum19901990 The motor controller that Sparkfun sent me was bad, so they are sending me another. It is currently in the mail.

  • i watched both of your videos and it seems really interesting. please do more and put the video up thanks.
