@possum19901990. Like the title says this is "Building" an Internet controlled RC car. I'm still working on everything and have school work and other projects to worry about so its kind of slow going.
I have decided on how to make the "Internet Controlled" part though. On the rc car will be an Android phone connected to a VPN, which my laptop will also be connected to. Then by sending UDP packets to the IP of the phone, the phone can echo said messages via bluetooth to the Arduino.
@ajstyrer I'm still working on that part. My old motor controller was apparently a dud so I have purchased a new one. It's in the mail and should be here tomorrow. I will upload a new video once I have more running.
@student71901. It could but it would require very different much more complex code. The reason I use a PS2 controller instead of a PS3 controller because of how simple it is to implement. With the PS2 controller you simply wire it up & import a library into the Arduino code and print out the states of the buttons and analog sticks. Its surprisingly simple. The PS3 controller would require me to buy a bluetooth or USB host either for the PC or the Arduino & then write code for their interfaces.
@ajstyrer. Just an update. As I told @possum19901990 The motor controller that Sparkfun sent me was bad, so they are sending me another. It is currently in the mail.
hello. thats a great project. i really like it... i have few questions. can we use pc auduino that has usb connector? how did u made that circuit? how you attached and connected the servo. give some detail. or a full turtoial of ur project...
