I think Palin is an obviously intelligent person in most things or she wouldn't have been Governor but her quiting in mid stream has, in my opinion, killed any chance of her becoming president. If everyone in America voted for liberty-loving people with integrity (yes, some do exist!), we would still have the freedom & liberty that we've lost (see unPatriot Act, for one example), and we would still have our good jobs.

The "federal" reserve act was sponsored in the house and senate a DEMOCRATIC congressman and senator. (Carter Glass and Robert Owen). All DEMOCRATIC congressmen and all but two DEMOCRATIC senators voting voted for the bill. Most REPUBLICANS voted AGAINST it. You are truly clueless. it was signed into law by a DEMOCRATIC president-Woodrow Wilson.

Schieffer is certainly entitled to his opinion, but it's ONLY his opinion--not fact. He faces the camera as if his opinion is shared--or should be--by everyone watching. Nothing could be further from the truth--and I don't even necessarily like Palin, but I recognize a media hatchet job when I see it. Schieffer, ever hear the phrase, "...in my opinion." ?? Try using it once in a while; you'd have more credibility yourself.

I think Palin is an obviously intelligent person in most things or she wouldn't have been Governor but her quiting in mid stream has, in my opinion, killed any chance of her becoming president. Before she did that I might would have voted for her but now, there would be no way I could because I would fear her quiting for whatever reason. I know she was taking a lot of crap from asses like Letterman and others but I feel she would have weathered this much better if she had stayed in office.

She was was broke from having to defend herself for various unfounded charges. I don't blame her for "quitting." Any reasonable facing those kinds of legal fees would do the same. She does, after all, have a family to raise and was already $500,000+ in debt. This book gets her out from under that. I doubt she is going to run for president, but it's fun watching the left getting all worked up, lol!

I am not an American, but I think bringing them to New York to face justice and pay for what they did is viewed around the world as a great symbol of American strength. What is stronger of a statement than to say that you have a civilized system of law that will make those pay for what they did, and that you are not afraid of few little cavemen being tried in a courtroom. It certainly doesn't take a, "prophet," (psychic) to realize Obama will likely go down as the absolute worse president because he has lied more and done more damage by far quicker than any president before him. I would be willing to bet you voted for Obama when he only had 150 days total experience. I mean it took Obama 8 months to do 4 times more damage than Bush did in 8 years. Yes, it's fairly safe to say he will go down as being even worse than Bush and Nixon. IF he makes it a full term.
