  • i like this

  • Maybe Omar's performance on this isn't the best...but he's a great singer who's own music has clever lyrics.

  • questo remix di omar e dj dodge, è semplicemente tosto! bravi.

  • Why are there so many negative comments?? I love level 42 more than most - unhealthily! But you lot are saying what has Omar done to this... Omar is a big Level 42 fan! One of his last cd's was very highly recommended, and I'm sure Mark King had something to do with the choice of remixes as he is the money spinner out of the band - Mark even said he liked the K-Klass remixes in 94 and they were really bad!!! I'm not keen on this version, but its good to hear new versions of favorites :O)

  • i just dont like omar being in this but i like this idea.

  • Speaking as a Level 42 fan when I first heard this I was half expecting Will Smith to appear out of nowhere!! As remixes go I've heard worse..... at lot worse.

  • Nice Remix

    Thank you man!

  • Nice remix! Sorry Gfunknumber1, this is not one of Level 42's best songs. Not even in the top 10.

  • Ok ,the remix on " the sun goes down" is not the best ,but Mr Omar is sooo funky !!!

  • This truly is shit on toast. Omar has taken one of L42's best songs, removed one of their funkiest basslines, removed Mr. King's vocal and reduced this song to nothing more than a piano and vocal loop with a few of his own "yeah yeah's" chucked in to fuck it up even more. Complete and utter shit from start to finish. If this is an official collaboration, then Mark King should be ashamed.

  • Let me see if I'm reading you correctly. You didn't like this? But it's paying homage to a great band and as for Omar he is a phenomenal artist and producer and I'm sure Mark and the rest of the band would have just enjoyed the honour of having such an accomplished artist/producer cover one their tunes.

  • If this is shit on toast, then who needs peanut butter and jam? Respect DJ Dodge and The Man, Omar.

  • I admit some of your points are valid. The bass line and vocals make this song what it is. This guy added nothing to it. (except for some yeah yeahs). Okay I totally agree and even toom out the "raps". But I have never eaten shit on toast. But I would be insulted if Mark backed this re-hash

  • Agreed, talentless shit riding on the back of greatness. Omar has shit all over this classic song, shame on him and shame on his genre of music for unremitting ripoffs.

  • Hear hear. What a load shite. It is though, not as bad the remix by Tin Tin Out.

  • what a good version of a great song thank for sharing it

  • Thanks for posting this - I wondered if there was a video around for this version.
