I'm probably stating the obvious here, but the way I see it, the point of the song is based around the wordplay "You and I" (two people), but when written as letters, it says U.N.I. which means ONE. Clever idea!

Look, I've been following Ed ever since I saw him appear on Balcony TV at the age of 17 and call me old fashioned but I thought his EP Songs I Wrote With Amy was absolutely amazing, definitely him at his best. Out of all of the versions of The City he chooses the worst of them all as well, the version he wrote at 17 was miles better! not to mention how good the SBTV version is. I have to wonder though if the songs sounds were Eds idea or not...

@laurenf139 hmm i loved it overall, but i thought The City was ruined by the silly 'home' thing in the chorus, ed's voice on the original track sounded much better.

i just thought alot of the slower more ballady (im aware this isnt a word..) tracks sort of just blended in with each other.. my highlight was small bump though, perfection :)

@Iey9 Haha of course, we all seem to be :P umm, no I didn't find it disappointing mostly, I was really impressed with the new songs like Drunk, This, Kiss Me and Gold Rush but the newer versions of The City and U.N.I were slightly disappointing as I do prefer other versions, but I have to say I love Give Me Love and Wake Me Up, and the whole production of Small Bump is absolutely perfect, if I could change anything about it I don't think I would! Overall I love it! What did you think?
