  • BEAUTIFUL SONG

  • Classic track from a classic album! Ah! The good old days of vinyl records!

  • Great song

  • This is one prime example that Heavy Metal music is of the finest calibre in all of music.

  • Every time I hear this song I think a female is doing guest vocals or something. Regardless of my lack of comprehension of why someone would want to sound like that, they do sound pretty good.

  • listen to this song everytime i go to SLEEP

  • THis reminds me of "the sleep" by pantera!

  • one of the best songs ever written.

  • ultimate vocalsssssssssssssssssssssss fuk yess him and john cyriis from agent steel are the bestest....and the guy from Realm :DDDDDDDDD

  • Does somebody know where i can find the tabs for this song?

  • Man I love this song

  • no

    mames!!!!

  • It brings good times.

I miss them when I hear this song.

    I still love it.

  • @PerritoAttack You know they are back together and there are rumors of a new album right?

  • @Metalmaniac365 If they make a new album soon, than 2010-2020 may be the come back year for great metal albums. I mean look at all the great metal albums and events that have been going on lately. It's a good sign!!

  • @legojunk53 Definitely. 2010 seemed to be the beginning of a huge wave of metal comebacks, then 2011 hit, and every bands started releasing new albums, many going back to the style that made them good in the first place. 2011 has definitely been a good year for metal. I certainly hope the trend of good metal returning continues.

  • @Metalmaniac365 Yeah and 2000-2010 was pretty good too but that seemed to be setting up 2010-2020. Like ya know bands got back together than and started working on new albums and now stuff is really in motion for a bunch of new stuff to happen.

  • Oh I See Ok thanks Hahahah, Yea It IS Pretty Depressing But The Melody Is Very good Indeed

  • K L A S A . . .

  • certainly this is one of the more beautiful ballad of the Heavy and Thrash metal!

  • Does Anyone Know The Meaning Of The Lyrics?....

  • @Jesus47534 it kinda sounds like he's talking about how he doesn't really like the thought of growing up and how all of the friends he had when he was younger kinda split off and did their own thing and basically how he would kill to have it all back...i could be totally wrong but this is kinda what it sounds like...it's kinda depressing, but an amazing song nonetheless

  • @MoshersRage

I thought that, too, until I actually read the lyrics carefully:

"But now that's gone so I have to wonder

Is it worth the price we pay?

A long range test has put us under

And made us go away, go away"

Sounds like it's about a guy whose town was destroyed/made uninhabitable by a nuclear missile test gone awry. Fits right in with the whole 80s sociopolitical/antiwar theme of the album.

  • Good bunch of guys, serious talent. We all took guitar lessons from the same person. Josh is a very good songwriter, and really good player!

  • great power ballad

  • ughh.... just beautiful..... just spectacular, i ha ve no other words to describe this.

  • I CAN HEAR YOU!!!! TOXIK!!!

  • canadianman15.... what did you just remind me......how long back in time you travelled me.... one song, one era, one feeling.....

    thank you dude !!

  • damn this one is so good

  • I like Toxik and all but this song reminds me of that gay song by Skid Row called 18 and life ,I don't know why.

  • @CommanderSpeedMetal hey! 18 and life is not gay

  • @CommanderSpeedMetal it s funny that is because you are stupid

  • @CommanderSpeedMetal similar tonality

  • @CommanderSpeedMetal, maybe it's the singing.

  • fuck where can i download this golden shit i love this group

  • @adesaluman

    Uh...iTunes? :D

  • Awesome song! Thanks for uploading! :)

  • no, cemitery gates somewhat similar to there stood the fence

  • Exactly! I found out this was released a year before Cowboys From Hell...

  • Comment removed

  • And yes, the second song i had in my old tape.. so many years ago

  • Umm maybe you should consider BUYING the album

  • @toxikfan6 doesn't mean shit man they're probably not together anymore thus being said the record label probably makes all the profits fuck them download it and just enjoy these amazing peices of music

  • @BudhaBluffa Theyre still together. They have a documentary coming out as well as a new album supposily.

  • new album??

    i hope yes

    they are fucking great

  • they are still together.

  • @toxikfan6 How about no. Why buy the album when you can listen to it on Youtube? ; )

  • @superchef78 Because good music deserves to be bought.

  • @T3HM3T4L I'd rather listen to it if it is available for free. Why spend money when you can listen to it for free? ; )

  • @superchef78 Sure, nothing against it if you just want to use it to check out new music, but if we buy their products, it'll at least get noted that people are interested in them, and rather smaller/unknown bands such as Toxik need that attention when they're trying to keep on making great music!

  • @T3HM3T4L I never conceptualized the issue as such. That is an extremely valid/sound reason, but it doesn't apply for bands that are perpetually split-up (ie they will no longer make new music). However, it obviously does provide the composers/artists (whoever receives the credit) with some income.

  • @superchef78 You indeed have a point there, but Toxik is trying to get back on their feet. They're still registered as unsigned but they brought out a live DVD by theirselves now (Think Again) and they'll be having a NEW SHIRT coming out this September! I just stumbled over this info while doing research for you, my friend, so THANK YOU! :D

Go to their MySpace and check the link in their blog: OFFICIAL WORLD CIRCUS SHIRTS!

(If you can't find it, PM me!)

  • @T3HM3T4L Toxik is currently active, anyways.

  • @superchef78 THink about how much it costs to record an album and how many artists never see that money back because some kids downloaded their shit. Its like working for free. And you wouldnt bother if that was the case man

  • @DawnToBlack I'm sure adults download their music as well.

  • @DawnToBlack Thats why you tour mah friend

  • @MrSookz The production of an album cost money. Touring costs equally as much or more. Think about how many dudes are thinking the way you do and don't ever go to live gigs? Im just saying, don't go on about downloading music because its free etc etc you just end up looking like a jackass. Buy a vinyl. Then listen to it front to back. Then you will understand the experience of owning music physically.

  • @DawnToBlack

If you really want to support the band, buy a copy of their Think Again dvd and a shirt. They don't get much (if any) money from album sales.

  • how about you buy the album and support the band?

  • this is just pure greatness.

wish i knew about this band much earlier than now!

  • the perfect album. not very many can compare to this.

  • Yet ANOTHER underrated band.

  • SUCH AN UNDERRATED BAND!!! Kick ass ballad!

  • My God! I haven't heard this in so long! I love it. The whole album is a masterpiece. I've got goosebumps!

  • Awesome song!

  • Josh Christian ruled and soo may people never knew of him . I asked Paul Gilbert at a clinic in 89 if he had ever heard of him and he said no i gave him this cd and told him to check out his guitar playing....sweet solo and this song was my fav

  • What did he think of it?

  • Epic song. I'm just getting into Toxik, but I like what I'm hearing.

  • Heart Attack is another good track.

  • @CanadianMan15 Shotgun Logic is another good track

  • I bought this album at a cd warehouse, and it was the best purchase i got there.

i would've gotten Hirax and D.R.I. but i only had enough for one cd.

  • For top-flight musicianship, intelligent, thoughtful lyrics, and pure musical intensity, 80s-90's thrash is unbeatable.

  • I love this song... Thanx Blake for introducing me to this song, get better soon bro

  • Indeed, an absolute classic. There´s not a single bad note to be found on that record

  • the whole think this album, is a musical masterpiece!

  • Best metal record ever made. I've named my cat Toxik.

  • hahaha, great dude =)

  • @sjabbahnijmeguh Totally agree with you man, best new band/thrash album i found this year

  • @sjabbahnijmeguh me too, but my pet is a fox

  • great song
