This is the way the record should have sounded in 1967 - at least on the "Cold Sweat" album - by the way, my first James Brown album, a gift from my High School friends. Loved it then and love it today. (I expect to love it tomorrow).
Nice remix, but as I've said, I was never a big fan of the original recording, Yes, I know, 'funk began there' but it's just too slow for me. I much prefer the 2 live versions from Apollo II 67 and Dallas 68.
Dr. Dyson dropping some fine guitar , slightly understated , not over powering like adding pepper , not too much , just a taste .
