My wife and I have been growing our own food for decades. We trade and barter our fresh fruit and veggies with others. Different gradens have defferent bumper crops so we trade back and forth. We can a lot of them and trade them too. I hunt for meat so we eat and trade that too. You are correct in that most Americans are lazy. However when things get tough they will have too. The food was always stale and tasted horible, it was mushy, flavorless, covered in holes and over all just substandard. I did see small farming regulations but thats all for farmers that are making profit and selling or trading their goods to the public. My wife and I have been growing our own food for decades. We trade and barter our fresh fruit and veggies with others. Different gradens have defferent bumper crops so we trade back and forth. We can a lot of them and trade them too. I hunt for meat so we eat and trade that too. You are correct in that most Americans are lazy. However when things get tough they will have too. Also I have not problem shooting someone that attempts tpo steel our food even if they are government.

So when you accuse someone, you are saying you don't wish to have a meaningful debate or offer any counterpoints. I find those that accuse tend to be the real dolts here online pretending to be something they are not. However you are entitled to your opinions as I am to mine and we both take critcism for it.

@sfiorare I've probably made comments considered to be out of line to you. Fine that is your opinion. I monitor the news and make my own interpretations. You bring up the pointo of propaganda. Is TV propaganda? Are newspapers propaganda? Would you consider Democracy Now on PBS to be a good source of information (I actually like the way they report then news FYI)? A better question is have we lost good hard journalism and reporting in this day and age?

@sfiorare I like to pick up a newspaper vs. watching whatever passes on TV. I also like reading from websites that report the news. FOX/MSN/Yahoo/AP/Reuters. If I do turn on my TV and turn on the converter box (which is rare), I normally will tune it into PBS because sounds like some news outlets are committed to good journalism. Obviously FOX doesn't qualify as much when they decale Sharon Angle the winner. Can't understand how some news outlets are still in business.

@apocalist420 I think it is highly unlikely, Monanto make a lot of people a lot of money and I don't think it would be wise to try to take them down. They will have people to protect them. Anyway I'm not against Monsanto because I actualy belive in GMO's and using petro chemicals, my mum calls me chemical Ali due to the hoard of insecticides, fungicides, fertilisers and of coars 1 bottle of round up. Perhaps it is not sustainable at this point in time, but I do not believe that it is inferior to conventional methods, which may be needed at this point in time.

@apocalist420 My expiriances at the glass house colledeg lead me to belive that organic IS infirior. The food was always stale and tasted horible, it was mushy, flavorless, covered in holes and over all just substandard. I saw that the vegetables on the farm were always yellow, full of brown holes and dried out. This was a cirtified organic farm. The bug pathorgens made me ill all the time, also the food standard agency hase just declared organic no better for you.

It is not scientific fact that conventional produce has no effect on health or that organic produce is not better. Who would fund a study that proves monsanto's crops aren't as good, monsanto? You act as if you have no bias in this argument. Objectively, you and I don't know anything, except that pesticides kill things and that they may, just may, be a little dangerous.

I have hade no problems eating conventional food, it is all that I eat and my health hase gone up dramaticaly. @meatisdeliciouse This study is on GM crops, and seems to show that GM Corn is safer then organic non-GM corn. You are talking about mold and bacteria on organic crops lol not bugs. I do not know about that, some plants are generally more succeptable to molds and bacteria then are others, correct?
