@CyberSetan This is what pisses me off, the family members and medical staff can't wait for them to catch trains and happily go back to work. I truly believe that the state wants to them just go back to work. Well to hell with that, pay my ass for blowing off my limbs. It seems as if they do not have a full grasp of the reality of this in front of this camera. The real life problems come in after the camera is gone. It is all phony talk for now.
As an Irish man I know Ireland and Britain had its troubles but my heart go's out to all these lads both young and old who done their job, all the best for the future
goodness this really isn't for the faint hearted, poor guys they had their whole life ahead of them and their lifes got wasted so unnecessarily, it's a shame!!!
@TheEnglishBadman For goodness sake read some basic history before you do. (And I don't mean those military-porn ones I mean real history and real political theory). I'm judging by your comment on national safety that you're not much informed about the nature of European interference in the country for..what the last 15 years!...do you read...can you read? Do you know how the Taliban got there in the forst place? ugh, you tool.
Some how I missed this on BBC, I am myself an old ex British soldier, one who was on duty in NI in the early 1970's, and also had friends killed by IED's or the bullet. I still know the name of my regiments first fatality, and ones later of friends and drinking buddies. Will admit that I like others said they shed a tear, did make me choke up on how severe these injuries are of course back in NI such programs were never made, if they were would not have been shown. God Bless Irish Rangers
flame me if you like young guys like this their lives are fucked at 19 for a war that is bullshit get them the fuck out, brave men all and they don't deserve this.
@hopefalling The fucking Mental Health 'professionals' have to make their money somehow. No rest for the Evil. If he is going to 'crash' (that isn't even a medical term) then he better do it with his comrades, not sat between an incontinent OAP and a fat man having emergency lipo suction in a fucking hospital.
This makes me more cirtain about pushing forward with complaints against the Birmingham University Hospitals Trust. It's al the fault of the directors.
Thankyou for putting this up, there are so many people I want to show. Maybe it'll change their opinions of the soldiers for the better. I hope so - our guys are incredible.
Do these men get any compensation? They are crippled for life.

It's totally ridiculous that they won't let him go to Cypress. He's obviously totally mentally stable, that's crap.
