  • Comment removed

  • Nice sound. What amp did you use? And stock pickups?

  • Your timing is a bit off in 'stricken'

  • @skylorz eh its an acquired feeling lol

  • :O

  • @skylorz also the most amazing sounding!!!!

  • Thank you for posting this. I want to get this get guitar! Initially I was unsure if it were right for me because I play a lot of heavy music like system of a down, slayer, and pantera. Because of this video I'm totally getting this guitar! Thank you!

  • 1:05 that sound fucking epic

  • i got the exact same guitar dude im just not as good as you :D lol and u just got a new subscriber!!! and plz check out my videos and if you want sub to me :) thnx rock on!!

  • lush...

  • I have this but an Epiphone. Looks excactly the same, and the sound is almost as good! Love it to death.

  • hey man nicee vidd, one question, how's the neck on this thing ?? b cuz I play ALOT of metal too as well ALOT of 80s stuff, and I'ma get it, I'm just curious, I know it's gonna b a lil chunky b cuz it's the 50s rounded, but I wanted to ask if u can compare this to a Schecter, b cuz I have a Schecter Synyster Gates Custom and I love the neck on that, but what do u think, thanx

  • @ Viewtivision get this man, this thing is worth it, I'm getting mine in a couple o days, and the reason why I say get this is b cuz the quality is gonna b better b cuz it's made in USA ya know, and plus if u get the faded the pickups will b better than the pickups on the Epi and it's makes a GOOD difference trust me lol

  • @Viewtivision The studio for sure! it has better pickups and i mean come on, its a gibson, not an epiphone. Its very much worth it to spend the extra cash if you have it.

  • @Viewtivision You cant compare Epiphone to Gibson my friend, Epiphone is a copy of Gibson OWNED by Gibson, I suggest you get the Gibson, but I guess its personall preference.

  • @AppleTissue Fuck me you get £800 christmas presents? fuck

  • @AppleTissue get it i have one and just get it

  • seymor duncun or emg pickups? :D

  • Comment removed

  • @StratPlayer4Life No, HB Pro

  • i got the same guitar, if you wanna hear how it sounds with clean tone, I've recorded a Pink Floyd solo with it. It's recorded so you can hear how good tone this guitar have. watch?v=Cx0Hci4VHMI

  • what are your pickups?

  • Remember this guitar DOES have a maple top, but it is CHAMBERED.

  • asians.......

  • I suck at guitar...I cant play a single thing this guy did..still cant wait for mine to come in the mail though o-o

  • @Seraph825 Your getting a les paul studio and cant play anything this guy played?..

  • @R33DY94 well, not good at least...

  • IS THIS A 50 NECK OR 60 NECK IAM GOING TO BUY A GUITAR SOON

  • I heard this guitar before, sounds amazing, good sustain and a lot of presence, I mean sounds louder than Rg's from Ibanez (obviously) and the tone is beautiful " very sweet" but no kind in other words as we say here in Mexico "suave pero super encabronado", I wonder if Jem's could sound a little bit like by adding a sustain block. I see it from the distance :D:D you are a Dude... sorry for grammar transgressions by the way...

  • i believe there was a version of the faded studios that had the burstbuckers from the satandards but it was discontinued.

  • @futebalmakedonia no the current models that are faded do have the burstbuckers so there gonna sound like pafs

  • WHAT AMP ARE YOU USIONG

  • All LP's are awesome guitars, probably the best....

  • Wrong guitar for heavy metal! It sounds better with rock, hard rock and blues :)

  • @CRHaru So wrong. Almost all heavy metal bands record/play with Les Pauls at one point or another. A lot of them use ONLY Les Pauls. Their thickness gives them a big deep sound. perfect for metal.

  • @MichaelAndrewSapp i agree... but there are some guitars more suitable... i don't know... Ibanez, Jackson, Washburn!

  • ok dood nasty gibson les paul...but when u play sweet child o mine try and seperate each note so they dont blend together and sound like mud...check out my chanel and wach me play the intro

  • @HeirOfJezuz DEFINITELY get an amp, a fender or Marshall or line 6 would be good with this

  • I have this same guitar. I REALLY need to know what a good amp is.. Im thinking a Fender Reissue Blues AMP

wtf I cant make mine sound like that and its cause i have a fender mustang2.. BOO

  • very helpful review

    what amp do you have?

  • keep rocking on dude ;)

  • For a faded studio model, that actually sounds pretty good. Better then that $1320 studio model i played at Samash.

  • I'm looking at getting this guitar. It would be my first electric guitar so I was wondering, do you need speakers to really play it, or will it play nicely without speakers?

  • Can you please point out all the rig that you are using here?

So we can have a thorough review of how the guitar sounds.

    That'd be great thanks.

  • Please tell me what amp are you running this guitar Through :D Please anwser Lol

  • disturbed sucks

  • what kind of amp do you use?

  • Mettalica POWAAAAAAAAAA !!

  • Sounds great, what amp are you using?

  • why does everyone use LP and the SG gets no love :\

  • dude, you need to raise your action or not strike the strings so hard. I can hear fret buzz on the E string. other than that, nice harmonics and playing. might get on of these.

  • this will be my next guitar !!!!! : D les paul is really the best

  • no dont listen to lofofsepult gibson 1000000000000x better. trust me ihad one til i got the gibson les paul fender is just a little toy compared to a gibson

  • @EminemFan1fan very true i have a fender road worn tele and the gibson really has the balls you need.

  • expecting to find this guitar in the mail next tuesday =DD

  • @MrCheckviller good pick for a guitar they're great guitars I have one and I've had it ever since christmas and its the best guitar I've ever played.

  • I have mine for sale. email if you're interested!

  • YOU ARE AMAZING... I've been played for 10 months and hope when I have played for 2 years to be as great as you

  • Take a Fender ! The sound is bad, your style it is not on a Gibson....I know... Bye

  • I love that guitar! Most comfortable guitar I've ever played and damn it stomps even the standard I think

  • thanks cheers from Greece!

  • hi mate!One question!?does this axe has a Slim-taper neck(60sneck)??

  • @dinzakos6 the studios, as far as i know, have the wider 50's necks, from what ive seen, heard and read

  • i have the same guitar only its got a sunburst color without the black outlining. you did good though you just messed up a little bit on stricken's solo but other than that you did awsome. o and what kind of amp was the one you was using

  • Disturbed FTW

  • Alright two questions:

What's the difference between the "studio" and the Gibson les Paul?

I want to play like neo-classical music. Would it look good on this or a fender strat?

  • @Fernandez3995 the finish. honestly thats the only difference seperating the gibson les paul studio (around $800.00) and the much more expensive shiny looking ones. the white version of this guitar costs $400.00 more.

  • I got this guitar for christmas and it kicks ass

  • I like this guitar, the neck is really good, the only thing I doesnt like is the 22 frets only, and the pickup changer position

  • 2:49 Awesome !! What song is that? :-)

  • 0:40 sound cool i cant do pinch harminics i've been trying it for 2 days but i cant, any tip or suggestion??

  • Whatever you're using it sounds sweet to me! Love that guitar...great style for someone so young. Keep it up!!!

  • please more pinchs on sandman, we like it

  • Good review, thanks man

  • im from argentina, that guitar is like.. dont know, 6 months of work in a call center here!! literally

  • NICE PLAYING mAN

  • Hey man I would love to NO What all equipment that you are using to get that sound out of the guitar!! :)

  • Hey man I would love to NO What all equipment that you are using to get that sound out of the guitar

  • yeah thats my guitar:D

  • What amp are you using?

  • for less money you could grab an agile 3000 which is much a better instrument.

btw you are slightly out of tune, or is that just the guitar?

  • Comment removed

  • yuk metal'

  • i got that guitar :)

  • hey dude :D i got one of these myself but i have a problem with the g-string because it tunes in like 10 minutes and then i have to tune it again... you know whats wrong or did you have the same problem?

  • I have the same thing. 'Tis one awesome guitar!

  • That was awesome! :) I would like to know, that what amp and effect or multi-effect do you use for this guitar exactly? 'cos I want to buy the same guitar, it has very very great metal sound! :D

  • you did great im getting one of the gibson les pauls since right now i just have a fender stratocaster and im pretty good and ive only been playing for 3 months now but nice guitar

  • if i was your dad, i would get you the best gibson les paul supreme money could buy

  • what song is the first one

  • @chrisrules1999

    Disturbed's "Stricken"

  • @weakfingers i have a les paul epiphone special

  • This is the greatest guitar ever, my only problem is the strap pegs are too small and it dropped my guitar, but i caught it. strap locks were an easy $10 fix. great sound!

  • @DOWATTS

Yeah! I probably should get strap locks for my guitar.

  • @weakfingers I promise you it will be the best thing you will ever do for your guitar.

  • @weakfingers I find all of Gibson's strap-knobs to small and that's why I got strap-locks for my junior the day after I bought it. It's a great idea to do so.

  • @DOWATTS Wow, you caught it! Phew! :)

  • probably been asked this so many times, but what kind of amp you playing through?

  • @MHarrison84

I'm actually playing through a Roland Micro Cube. Doesn't do the guitar justice, huh?

  • did he dropped the lower E string to D?

  • hello nice playing and tone... (it 's a Gibson anywayzz :P )

Did u use any pedals for this video? and what amp was that recorded with?

  • Great playing, lot's of practice= great playing and sweet guitar.

  • nice tone man . luv it

  • @weakfingers how would you recommend cleaning this guitar? im getting it for christmas and im just wondering what would be good to use.

  • @motorheadkonzert ya man its pinch harmonics, u pick the note and with ur picking hands thumb lightly graze the string, takes pratice but just play with it

  • good playing! good sound, i have the same guitar, she's awesome, but you have better amp and pedals, i cant get that sound xD

  • Great vid man, ive been playin for abt 2 years and definatley not that good...nor can i afford that guitarxD but what amp you using for that?

  • hey man, great playing! i was wondering tho, does this les paul have a fairly slim neck, or is it a fat baseball bat style? thanx

  • Awesome, awesome playing!

I'm buying one of these tomorrow!!!! :)

  • @jweeter Correction - mine is ARRIVING tomorrow :P

  • Good guitar player. I'm getting this guitar in about a year I guess. I always wanted a Gibson les paul studio because they're cheap but still sound incredible. Also, you get the MADE IN THE USA confidence when you buy it. Every guitar I owned so far has been made in indonesia and break within a half a year.

  • i would fucking kill for one of those guitars man...

  • How do you get those pinch harmonics at 0.41 ? Are you using anything to enhance the pinch harmonics sound?

  • @RFKings

Nope, just a regular pinch harmonic with some vibrato!

  • @RFKings high output pickups / humbuckers would do the job.

meanwhile - high gain with low volume destortion / od is nice

  • @RFKings i just got this guitar today actually haha and pinch harmonics just ring out on it like crazy

  • @XxxscooterfortxxX Ahah christmas sure did smile on you :D

  • @RFKings haha yeah dude i was so happy :D

  • that was the last guitar i played with at guitarcenter

    and i wasnt disapointed

i played for 2 hours seemed like ten minutes

  • GIBSON - Sexiest guitar ever :) thumbs up if you agree :)

  • @wendelchico95 i've one :3

  • @andreri8 Me to, I have a Les paul junior ;)

  • great sound!!!!

  • What amp are you using?

  • in a pair of month i will buy this piece of happinesssssssss. but i like sunburst color

  • What's the name of the tune you were playin?

  • i thinkin about gettin this baby in ebony =)

  • what amp did you use?

  • what amp did you use?

  • dude i dont know if i shold buy this or an american standard tele. i play rock?

  • @SkullcandyFan2010 Play the guitars then decide. One may sound better than the other even if it is cheaper because every guitar is different.

  • @SkullcandyFan2010 a tele will be easier to move fast on, but a les paul can get a more powerful "fat tone". A tele gets a bright tone.

Les Pauls are known to be great for harder rock, maybe guns n roses, acdc, metallica, etc. and have the best sustain. Slash uses one .

a tele will sound better clean, AND is a GREAT lead guitar because it can "cut through".

A tele is used more in rock styles that use jazz chords (such as pop rock, indie rock, alternative)

    play both before deciding.

  • I want this, but i want P-90 pickups instead

  • how did he get that effect noise when he played enter sandman it happens exactly at 2:02

  • @raytoroforlife It's a pinch harmonic.

Search it up here on youtube.

  • @raytoroforlife its called a pinch or artifilial harmonic search a tutorial on utube or look it up on googel

  • wicked tone dude!

  • theres alost of guitar hero songs on here lol

    good music though

    U ROCK MAN

  • Is the ephipone Les Paul the same as the Gibson ?

  • @Iamtheleggend the epiphone is the cheaper version of the gibson,it has less quality but still a good guitar..

  • real nice playing bro!!!

  • how you do the harmonics on enter snadman?

  • all these demos sound the same. no originality.

  • thats disturbed i think prayer

  • nice!

whats the tuning for the disturbed?

  • @PsycopathKiller

Supposed to be drop C, but I had it in drop D.

  • FAKE! LOL

  • @gresticle not really

  • Nice job bro, your pretty good!!

  • You can't hear what the tone actually sounds like with all the distortion >.< All guitars sound the same with max distortion. At least you covered clean at the end though, thanks.

  • O_o Gibson got the link on to your vid on the official web, just came from there… OMG!

  • @weakfingers how much did it cost

  • @Arwynfa if u just take alot of time out of ur day it becomes easy

  • @Arwynfa well dude its all practice. ive only been playing for 2 years and almost mastered EVH's style. i spend my time tryin to learn paul gilbert eddie van halen yngwie malmsteen and george lynch stuff

  • @Arwynfa I've come pretty much just as far in 1 - 2 years. Just practice constantly... :P
