pba ammo doesn't effective at long. because its too light. so it lose kinetic energy faster than other pellets, but at short range it has terrific speed by a standart 1000fps airgun. and I've a question ''does the .177 normal pellets such as gamo pormagnum effective against a medium sizde bird for hunitng ??''
It's BS about these pellets. 1st- Your going to screw up your rifle more than likely if you shoot these much due to piston slam on a light pellet. 2nd its lighter and faster but not more powerful nor more accurate.
Save your money and buy some Beeman or JSB pellets.
I would not use the PBA ammo for two reasons. Being so lite as a pellet it will sooner or later ruin the spring in rifle because there is not enough resistance cause the spring to over travel. Second, they are unstable in flight due to weight and not very accurate if you break the sonic barrier. One has to stay just below it to remain accurate. I'll put my CharlieDanTuna "turbo tuned" Shadow 1000 up against anything out there right now.

i think it is expensive. but its safe for the envirement and it makes a regular pellet gun a lethal weapon. hard to believe though how it has a 25% increase in velocity
maybe its true...any lighter pellet will increase the fps of you're gun. safe for the envirement lol....and then a bird hunter goes out and fires 10 shotgun shells into the air...
i rly like the amo. its a lil expensive though. i got a few packs to my birthday. i shoot a lot and i wasted them all in 1 month. (of course i didnt use them for target shooting. thats wut match pellets r for.)

To tell you the truth this ammo is no good its to light and too expensive. They don't make it in .22 cal either. I use RWS and Beeman pellets.

I use steel shot for targets, but it's no good for hunting because it's so light.
