I love his honesty and willingness to share his spiritual journey. Reading some of the comments on this page I see that suddenly he is 'less' than he was to some people. I wonder if these people have ever met him? His musical ability is a gift and it certainly sounds like he is using it well - great song :)

i've been listening to Ed [LIVE] since the very first album 20 years ago (i was 19). first concert was April '94 at Trees on a stormy night in Dallas. it was so electrifying the power went out 4 or 5 times! LOL i still have my t-shirt - sadly, i only got (drummer) Chad's autograph coz Ed refused to get out of the bus, instead, he was peeking through the curtains and grinning! LOL great memories...and no, he's not a sellout. his music has always had a 'spiritual' flavor. COME BACK TO DALLAS, ED!!

AWESOME! I've been a fan of lives music since I was a kid, and Ed's new CD is amazing. It's so great to know that he has submitted to Jesus, and is willing to speak openly about it. I'm sure he'll take a lot of crap from people, but I believe God will use him and has already used him to help people. God bless you Ed.

As for the singer's bonus, I don't think anyone can doubt that Ed was the face and voice of Live... they'd be pretty unrecognizable without him... who cares? And yeah, his charity work is awesome! I'll be getting my autographed charity copy of "Grace" in the mail (all proceeds benefit Zambia), and very soon after I told him that I bought one on his page, he replied to me and thanked me personally!!
