Supernatural 7x06 - The Leviathan Makes Fun Of Sam, Dean, And Bobby

It's been amazing up to now, I'm enjoying all the episodes I love how 7th series started, it seems more amusing, bolder and they are experimenting with a lot of things the producers, makers etc. I just love the actors, script and am in awe of it all. Good show guys thanks for the upload :)

This season & season 5 are my favorites. Season 5 because I love the actor who plays Lucifer he did an amazing role & to the guy who played Chuck (the prophet) I hope Supernatural never ends. :D

they're really being stupid with these leviatians. even before borax, they could have taken care of these guys with heavy weaponry or booby traps(long enough to seperate the head and dump it in a deep hole.) They should probably ask crowley if he's got any ideas too. If a witch can own one of these things I'm sure the King of hell could. They should also get some other hunters to help. The list goes own. Leviathans suck, and the Wincesters suck worse, but they have Plot Power

@waldoman7 If your list of things are what you think they can use to get near Dick, then remember that Borax doesn't really hurt him (he laughed when it was sprayed in his face), he might be too powerful for the witch and guns and other things are pretty much useless.

it's a list of things that will slow down most leviathans long enough to put their heads in a box. I must have missed the scene in which Dick laughed off borax. However even if he's fully invincible, so far Leviathans seem to have zero offensive power beyond strength. They're just hard to kill. Just get an angel or demon to teleport them to the sun. Crowley hates the bastards so you wouldn't even have to sell your soul.

@waldoman7 The scene where Dick chuckled at the borax is on a video called 'Supernatural 7x09 Ending Scene Bobby Gets Shot'. Most Demons don't seem to be able to teleport other things - Azazel did in the season 2 finale and the only other time is when 3 Demons took a weakened Alpha Vamp' away. Angels are far too busy sorting their own problems out. I think Crowley is too scared to attack the Leviathans directly.

@M4ttM3224 I'm sure the armies of hell could beat them. There don't seem to be very many. Teleporting and other serious magic may be a bit of a strain for demons, but remember that witches get their power from demons(mostly) so if witches can do it demons can do it. They main reason they don't is that this show is low budget.

The reason he hasn't taken out dick, is of course because the plot says so. It's the same reason why the Wincesters are always idiots yet still get lucky and win, why Lucifer himself was helpless against their bumbling.

@waldoman7 There are still several issues with Demons teleporting them to the sun - most Demons can't teleport other things, there has been no indication that Demons can leave earth and Leviathans can't die (if they are incinerated they can just re-assemble themselves)..

The only way to kill a leviathan is to make them eat themselves. The only way to do that is to lock them until they get hungry enough to eat themselves.

@leakysuperjoker1 Angels were around before Humans and Eve was around before Angels. I think God created Death, Heaven, Michael, Lucifer, Raphael, Gabriel, Eve, regular Angels, Earth, Humans and Hell (in that order).

this is turning out to be my fave season (aside from season 2 ofc). the leviathans are smart, funny and invulnerable to practically everything. i liked the whole borox thing. it was clever. i know some people find it stupid, but its already been established that they cant be hurt by anything supernatural and frankly, why would they be? love the leviathans XD Chet ftw!!!

Either way, Castiel? He was well over 400 million years old. Seriously, how do the Winchesters never comment on Castiel being an old guy (he makes Bobby look like a new born babe) heck, when Castiel acts sexually he's being a dirty old angel

The leviathans were the first beasts, predating angels. We already know from Castiel that angels are at least 530 million years old (Castiel had a flashback that proved he's over 530 million!) Borox is something that only occurs naturally when lakes evaporate or disappear. Since the Leviathans were exiled a long time ago, they probably predate Borox, ergo they never encountered it before because it didn't exist

I hope Sara Gamble gets kicked in the ****, the Leviathan story arc could have been about these cool, ultra powerful monsters more powerful than angels etc. But no, they turn out to be piss poor monster that can be hurt by washing liquid.

@eventingirl001 I too love the use of chemicals. With all the silver and rock salt, its nice have something modern and different. I also love the fact that the Leviathans are smart. As much as I miss Bobby's house (and that awesome panic room) I've been wondering for seasons why monsters never just staked out Bobby's house to find Sam and Dean.

The thought of salt burning a demon doesn't strike us as weird, cause we're used to it, but to be honest, it's just as insane as Borax hurting the Levi's. Aslo, they, in my opinion, are better than any other Big Bad, because they are organized, clever, and they want Sam and Dean dead. Every other Big Bad needed them for something, so they couldn't have them dead.

@Funtimesuntime3 That's because demon's are very low level as the show's moved on, Leviathans are supposed to be these big bad creatures whose powers are more superior to that of an angel. The idea of washing up liquid burning them is ridiculous because of their immense power and age.

@youboob6022 Not exactly a washing liquid. Just Borax, the mineral itself. Mother of All was killed by ash of a pheonix, right? I was thinking that maybe pheonixes were older than her, which is why it was able to harm her. There is no creature presumably, that is older than the leviathans, so no creature can harm them. They have to have a weakness, and since earth is older than them, it makes sense that one of earth's minerals can harm them.

@wisewarriormuzic A general rule on this show is: older = stronger. Archangels are the oldest and strongest Angels, Michael is the oldest and strongest Archangel, Alphas are the oldest and strongest monsters and Leviathans are the oldest things (besides God, Death and possibly the Archangels) and they are essentially indestructable.

@Demogorgon47 Actually it's already been confirmed that Misha is returning for 3 episodes this season starting with Episode 17 "Born Again Identity" - Cas is coming back in fact - we just don't know how or in what shape or form he will return in - they say he might have amnesia - but Misha is already back on set filming.

@Demogorgon47 If you are asking for my opinion - I don't like it, this season has been full of filler episodes, we're almost near the end of the season and the leviathan-arc has gone no-where - there are quite a few amazing episodes but other than that it lacks clear direction so I'm not impressed. I had high hopes after the premiere but it's disappointing and the lack of acknowledgement of Cas is even worse - but you should watch it and decide for yourself, who knows, you might like it.

@BetaArtemis Yeah I've noticed that there's been a shit load of episodes since bobby's death and none of them have jack squat to do with the leviathans. They're sposed to be the new bad guys, even worse then lucifer but they're just going around eating people and doing nothing at all. Maybe they'll be a multiple season bad guy. Still I am looking forward to seeing it. Just gotta wait for the dvd to come out, it's not in tv over in aus. Or at least not on mine.

@Demogorgon47 people have to understand that cable shows are different than network shows. the leviathans are guest stars (the actors playing them) they dont appear in every episode because cable shows have one story stretched out among closely related sub stories combined with direct mythology stories, while network shows have condensed 13 episode straightforward seasons.
