  • The focus is on Canadian drama because that is the sector at risk. News programs will be the only Canadian content left if the cable companies have their way!

    Why is this all focused on Canadian drama?

    Why no respect for or interest in news and information programming -- just as important to the "Canadian Story" and those broadcasters are

    ACTRA members too.

  • Actually most newsbroadcasters are represented by the Canadian Media Guild, not ACTRA, and the drama question affects wayyyy more performers than the few members who work in the news milieu
