The wreck of this submarine is guarded by the severed head of the captain which still hovers over the wreck as if to say "Hey you! Stay away from this wreck!" except in German, of course. And if you dare to try and... Oh wait. It's a jellyfish. So it wouldn't be speaking German.
Actually, the Nazi Party and war machine ran the German government and since a majority of the country was willingly or otherwise a member of the Nazi party...It is quite reasonable to call the sub a "Nazi Sub." Just like news announcers refered to the German military as the Nazi War machine etc..
hi MC. i got a question...is it dangerous to go inside the sub? and is the crew still in there or did they remove the crew? if they are still in there it's pretty creepy!
@Elieeeeboy It can be dangerous to go inside as there are lots of wires and pipes and other things that came loose when it sank that can trap a diver. It is also very dark and disorienting and therefore easy to get lost. If anyone died on the boat they (their bones) would still be there as the site is a war grave and it is illegal to remove human remains from one.
This is one of the best submarine diving videos I´ve seen. I would love to dive there sometime, any hints on dive boats that would offer one-day trips to U-251?
Thanks for the reply, sorry took so long for me to respond. Not long before I arrive in Denmark from 12th July for a week and really looking forward to dives like this, do you have any more

@henhute6 If it sailed under a nazi flag, it was a nazi submarine

It seems the U-251 had a long and eventful career - her last commander was Franze Sack and she returned to port on the 19th of April 1945

Hi Zafar
The Uboot is located between 25 meters(tower) and 33meters(seabed). At the website is another video about diving inside of it and many other details.
Have a nice stay in Denmark:)
