No sadly this is not live. This is a recording she has used many times. But I have heard her sing it recently live and it was way better than this. She has to coserve her voice so it's ok to lip sync. She's been doing live shows for over 20 years and her voice needs a break.

well she is using backing track so if you were sitting in the front row you would be able to hear her singing.......she sings along with a pre reocrdd track only for a couple songs though

I've seen i don't know how many videos of her singing this song... but i don't know.. from just watching for the first portion of the song yes it is live... but then right when it gets to the middle... people are right... she looks like she's lip-syncing the words.... i'm the last 3 comments are incorrect. This song is ALWAYS lipped from the first chorus onwards. There have been no exceptions since 1995 apart from 2 oprah winfrey performances, but even they were just the first verse and chorus. She uses the same playback tape every time. Just listen to all the other perfromances of this song, they are identical!

I believe this is live AND if for some reason this was lip-synced it was the only performance where she did so due to the recent throat infection. I know it was 100% live when I saw her at Manchester. There's no other reason why this song should be lip-synced because she regularly hits MUCH higher notes in the songs from this tour such as Taking Chances and Alone which are always live. ;)
