  • This was about passing the Hollywood theme.

  • @omri1520 fuck i never thought of it like that!! lol DAMN this wwe pg shit,, every cpl of times i see wats new theres always sumthin corny ha!

  • @callmemarc thats what i was thinkin lol

  • and then the ROCK becomes heel !

  • What's the deal with the editing?

  • The match at Wrestlemania 18 was the "torch passing" from Hogan to The Rock. That's why Rocky won. If it happens on Wrestlemania 28 between The Rock and Cena I stop watching WWE.

  • epic moment

  • great promo

  • Rock v. Hogan will be forever one of the best matches in WWE history.

  • 5:47...gives me chills everytime

  • might be the most electrifying moment in history if you were watchin that moment live back in 2002.

  • what the heck

    they skipped the "yes" part

  • its like passing the torch.... HOGAN to ROCK... 10 years after ROCK to CENA... thumbs up if you agree...

  • @SirJeff27

Yeah.....Hogan passed it to rock.,... Rock came towards Cena with the torch in his hand,...(Some of you may know where I'm going)...The Rock then Turned that torch SUMBITCH UP SIDEWAYS, and sticks it right up CENA'S CANDY ASS!

  • Still my favourite segment ever.

  • Imagine Bret The Hitman Hart, intervening

  • This was one of the greatest moments of all time in wrestling, and probably my favorite moment ever, particularly when the Rock told Hogan "They loved you, they believed in you, dammit the Rock believed in you." Probably the greatest words Rock ever spoke. IMO. And the match between the two at Wrestlemania will forever be my favorite and greatest match ever.

  • why do all the confrontations between 2 generations always happen in CHICAGO !!!????????

  • @kldodo idk but I got to see them both =D

  • This should have been Hogan vs Austin. Not sure what backstage politics came to play if there were any to prevent it, but it would have been bigger than Rock vs Hogan. Don't get me wrong, this was an amazing confrontation and an amazing match, but I would have rather seen Hogan vs Austin.

  • @twfchamp02 It was Hogan politics as usual....he refused to lose to Austin

  • @twfchamp02

Hogan had a problem with "the people", rock vs hogan suits little better, not to mention it turned out to be the greatest wrestlemania match in history.

P.S. Hogan vs austin would had been an amazing match too.

  • @twfchamp02 I don't think it would have been bigger.

  • LOL...hogan is actually kinda of right......he used to be the biggest star of all time in the wrestling industry back in the 80's....the whole freakin world knew who he was...but too bad he's fame slowly faded away...now guys like the rock and stone cold took over and finally.....someday...they too will be forgotten...sub me

  • The rock will always own john cena lmao.

  • this was great story and match but it all went to the trash when they made hulk hogan and the rock at no way out, that was a peace of monkey crap

  • WOOOOWWWWW HE GOT BURNT BY THE ROCKKKKK!!!

  • HOLY SHIT THIS IS SO OVERACTED THIS IS JUST REDICILOUS..

  • Hogan is a slow fucking queer, fuck at least Cena can move somewhat and he's not good either.

The Rock at WM27. Let's go

  • Think The Rock was the villain here because he was the one who confronted and attacked Hogan in the first place.

  • @SJMJ91 Nah Hogan and the NWO were the heel's at this point and Hogan was blaming the fans for him leaving the WWF/E and The Rock being the face in this situation came out to stand up for his "Million and Millions" of fans. But from a huge fan’s stand point i don’t think it mattered, they were both hugely loved characters and this was the biggest match ever in my opinion.

  • @PatrickDC1991 Yeah but between them two, Hogan was the one who was confronted and then attacked first.

  • @PatrickDC1991 So true. Just yesterday the WWE wants to make Rock look like a villain by putting a gospel choir as Cena's entrance. Bullshit, the fans love The rock and detest Cena and his cheesy morality good guy gimmick. Rock changed his gimmick only once because he knew that the fans don't like one dimensional characters, so he basically went full blast at the fans and went from a hated good guy to a beloved bigmouth heel. Cena is the very opposite, liked heel to a loathed babyface.

  • @SJMJ91 Yeah... but that was the beauty of the Attitude Era: Faces act like heels

  • "I'm the one that put the WWF on the map. I'm the one that made wrestling as big as it is today. There's nobody in this business that's a bigger icon than I am. There's nobody in this business that's sold out more arenas than I have. I'm the biggest star past for present in the wrestling world today and there'll never ever be a bigger star in the wrestling business than Hollywood Hulk Hogan!" - True fact.

  • @SJMJ91

sure .. adding to the fact that he fucked wCw bad .. and refused to job a lot (look at hogan vs sting havoc 99)

and now he's still hogging the spotlight in Tna and fucking the company bad ..

so he has a huge hand in making wrestling bad

  • Hogan=Greatness!!!!!!

  • Still remember this like it was yesterday.....This was EPIC!

  • The rock has to have some of the biggest balls a human being can have, he never gave a fuck if it was 10 on 1 5 on 1, 1 on 1 was an advantage.

  • @pakiunit89

    LOL XD

    Hahaha youre right :D

  • great times!!!!! The Rock will always be a star, john cena would never fit in his shoes, you can just tell the way the crowd gets so excited whenever he comes

  • one of the greatest moments in wrestling history

  • LOL A big hulk of crap!! Hahahahaha

  • hogan didnt want to lose to austin cause he thought that would be embarressing but losing to the Rock wouldnt be as the Rock is the best

  • So Hogan can decide to lose cleanly to the Rock not once but twice, but wouldnt allow himself to lose cleanly to Austin?

  • @johnnyapplebot wasn't the 2nd loss an unclean loss?

  • @DirtyPsycho69 even if it was, fact of the matter is that he agreed to lose twice to the rock yet wouldnt agree to lose at all to Austin. Makes you think the reason for that was because Austin was described as the best WWF/E superstar ever and Hogan thought he was so having him lose to Austin would cement that and he didnt want to do that. With the Rock it is different because while some may say he was the best, most people would say it was Austin.

  • rocky, hbk, stone cold and hogan are the 4 greatest of all time

  • It was supposed to be Austin who interrupted Hogan in this segment and began working a program with him. However, they couldn't decide on a finish for their match for WMX8. Oh well, I don't think the chemistry would've been as good in the ring or on the microphones between the 2 of them as it was between Rock and Hogan.

  • @Skywalker327 Rock and Hogan are much more similar than Hogan and Austin. Scott Hall vs Austin was more like the battle between two rednecks that drink like fish and in later years they no-showed.

  • I wish Hogan wasn't watered down during his WWF/E stay after his return in 2002. The evil heel Hogan from 96-98 was what was needed, but I guess Vince McMcMannequin had a leash on him and since Hogan didn't have his creative control and same pull with the WWF, he wasn't able to go off on the same rants he did when he was with WCW about being the icon and the greatest ever, basically rag tagging and burying anyone and everyone. Miss that Hogan =(

  • An icon from the past and one of the present. Throw one in for the future and we're rolling.

  • 2:22

King: Hogan's arms are bigger than Rock's legs.

    J.R.: Who cares?

    King: Huh?!

    Love J.R.

  • Guy on 0:11 holds an NWO ? sign ? (new world order?)

  • @Masshuu4400

    I was wrong. xD

  • there was like a good two minutes taken out of this segment.what happened?

  • This was wrestling at its prime. Now it's garbage. John Cena is such a bitch.

  • The only dream match left is Austin/Hogan, and considering the physical shape of both guys at this point, it'll never happen.

  • this segment is so gonna be repeated in 2003 when The rock and Hulk hogan change what they r saying now.....!

  • hulk hogan says he is the biggest superstar ever! but The Rock is the best superstar ever! look how fast hul hogan face goes the other way when he hears rock theme song haha

  • IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT YOU THINK!!!

  • this is old school, hulk was only like 72 years old in this video

  • Those were good times. I remember watching this while completing my homework in high-school.

  • i want to see the rock vs hbk

  • Damn!!! I miss these days..

  • this was awesome!!

  • Cena vs. Rock topping Rock vs. Hogan? Are you nuts?

  • @jrs0268 have another The Rock vs Stone cold matchup...that will top every other big match yet

  • @jrs0268 yeah this was legendary

but cena vs rock would be great too

  • @jrs0268 good point...i wouldnt mind seein a tripple threat though..maybe a fatal 4 if ya put austin in the mix lol

  • @jrs0268 naaahhh cenas not a big enough star to compare with the rock....the rock could actually compare with hogan

  • what about the rock vs hbk at Wrestlemania 29

  • @jrs0268 its not really over tho...its on hiatus...whether it tops the rock/hogan, I doubt it will happen.

  • @Mojoman1 I made the comment way before Cena/Rock was even close to reality, but even so, I stand by my comment. Cena (and really any wrestler) is not as big as Hogan was, and that's what made the moment special. The biggest name from the past taking on the biggest current name.

  • @jrs0268 IMO AS a wrestler hogan wass really the best, but as a wwe superstar, Rock is way above everybody else. And cena, as a wrestler as well as a superstar, is nowhere near Hogan or Rock, they are a class apart!.

  • @jrs0268 EXACTLY!!!!!!

  • @jrs0268 Its the beginning of a new tradition.

  • @jrs0268 The most Electrifying Man is sports entertainment vs the PG- Cover boy. Will never top the Great one vs Hulkamania. Even the millions (and millions) of the WWF/WWE fans know it too.

  • Y2J Y2J

  • yes

  • Good Times

  • Indeed....Indeed
