  • Great channel and I love this standing ab workout. I've been doing abs for years but I can really feel this working. You are such a personable instructor without being schmoozy! I have all your workouts on a playlist and do them during the day when I have to get my eyes off the computer. These short segments really clear my head. Thank-you Jason

  • thanks so much for post. great to work my abs w/o any crunches. worked my abd better than crunches as a matter of fact

  • thank you i will do this everyday.

  • how many calories does this burn?

  • You have wonderful energy and spirit for this! Thank you!

  • thank you!!

  • I know I ask a lot of questions... but I wanted to know if it was ok to do two sets of this and one set of the "abs with weights" exercise just twice a week? I doing weights also and want to do that 4 times a week... I am trying to dedicate the most time to weights is what I am trying to say. I hope you understand my questions lol. You're great by the way.

  • Yet an other great exercise to combine with the rest of your videos.

    Cheers.

  • I am glad you like, Melianteas! Keep a library of our videos...there are lots more to come!

  • Good job man. I can't do regular crunches because it causes horrible neck and head pain, and I am fit as well... I bench over 200 pounds in weight.

  • Yes....

Crunches are sooo tough on the vertebrae! I very rarely prescribe crunches to my clients. Now, I use this AB/CORE workout. Keep it up jlenoconel!

    Jason

  • Thanks man. Will a stability ball help me with certain exercises perhaps?

  • Also, I find this exercises do put some stress on my lower back, but its not as painful as crunches which put pressure on my upper back/neck which therefore gives me headaches. Is there something I could be doing wrong? Bad posture perhaps?

  • Hey friend!

Most exercises put stress on the lower back...the question is: "How much?". They apply far less shear stress on the lumbar vertebrae, compared to crunches/sit-ups, and YES, if you are not pulling on your head, there is virtually no significant stress in the cervical (neck) vertebrea. I don't think you are doing anything wrong. Stay with them, move slowly, and your body will strengthen in response to that stress. I look forward to hearing about all of your SUCCESS!
