@captainDex98 yeah. listen to the 4 engines' pitch in the video. The pitch was higher on climb. So the thrust applied during climb was maybe full thrust.

@captainDex98 In Airbus you have a Flex gate were the engines devolop thrust need for a safe take-off with fuel saving. That mean you wont take off on full thrust.
when i was going on flight LH413 with Lufthansa A340-600 (registration D-AIHM), they use the full FULL! power for takeoff, then after 5 minutes, the pitch reduced a lot then it increases then get back into its full FULL! power. then i got scared! AFRAID!! after another 5 minutes, the A340-600's engines set back into its climb power. the pitch reduced easily downwards. that was my scariest takeoff ive ever seen
Very nice video, a great view and sound! The increase of thrust when climb power is applied is something you will experience when the takeoff thrust has been highly derated.
I recently flew on a Boeing 737-700 where I noticed a similar increase of thrust when climb power was set.
Reasons for a derated takeoff can be noise abatement procedures, a lightly loaded aircraft, nice weather or a long runway.
Can't try this takeoff here in St. Maarten...you'll never rotate before the end of the runway...and if you do you'll never clear the hill.
Once again great video

@FelixMies Derated Takeoff Thrust also saves Engine life but the take-off run is going to be a bit longer..
