She does that so she can use her Alter/Dark Powers without losing control, since her arm is the only thing that is dark, also she uses it when to defend Emiya's house from the Avenger's armies, she rapes with it, she can make like giant lazor blasts and rider is fighting next to her in normal clothes, and Berserker and Ilya come in as Reinforcements to defend Shirou's house, which happens to be basically a women's dormitory in Hollow
