@iRJRx id start off with a kx or rm 100. or just take it slow on the 125. im 15 and 125's still toss me around and im 5 foot 10 and 170 pounds

ok i love my 2002 ktm sx 125 it was the last year for the 6 speed transmision and i took it out ice ridding this year with a few friends and they have a 2008 crf250f regeared to a 450 and a 2005 yz450f spacail addition and i droped down from a stock 50 tooth rear sprocket to a 47 and i past the 450f no problem no joke

probably easiest to do it on a 4-stroke..

but any MX bike can do it...

2-strokes are lighter, and will come up quicker with more power. Just keep giving it a little more gas each try until you can find a sweet spot for power, and balance.
