I can proudly say that I honestly think, In my opinions The Strokes are definatly

one of or possibly the best bands to come out in the 2000's so many fucking great songs! and well this video just proves how kick ass they are live aswell.

Also on the main MTV channel, very little music is played, at least in Ireland anyway. Reality TV shows have taken over!

i think julians voice has begun changing and it wont sound as raw and as powerful as it did like in the first two albums....if you notice, like hes sometimes forcing those bursts of hard scratchy vocals....

i dont know man, maybe he wasnt giving his all in this vid, but i am going to go on a limb and say that the strokes might not go back to be the same they were like in the early millenium with those two albums.... but who knows, maybe he figures out how to harness his voice and can come

It's because he quit smoking.

He stopped in order to hit the higher ones like in Ize of the World, but ends up giving up some of the rawness of songs like this one.

I think he still does it well.

We'll have to wait and see what it sounds like on the upcoming album.
