I fucking hate the Bears. Bears fans are the worse NFL fans PERIOD. Holding up signs during that game saying "finishing what katrina started" yeah, stay classy bears fans, how'd y'all like that whooping we gave y'all this season, and was pretty funny watching y'all lose to the colts in the superbowl:) Bears suck.
My how things have changed since a few years ago. I don't think the bears will be getting anywhere close to the SB again anytime soon especially with Cutler at the helm
@foreverthreepwood Uhm... they were a touchdown away last year, moron. Not to mention, they were playing at an even higher level this year before Cutler and Forte went down. Cutler was playing at an elite level at the time of his injury.
@richig761 An"ELITE"level huh?Well Fortes a solid player ill give u that but Cutler... When they played the Saints THIS year he was what,19 outta 45....??? Cant say he was injured then.He can be pretty good at times but hes way too inconsistent and I felt sorry for him and the rest of your team when we hosted yall in the dome THIS year and, well, dominated you.And as far as being 7 points away from beating Green Bay,I hope u enjoyed it dikhead cuz thats as close as yall r gonna get for a while!
@foreverthreepwood You obviously didn't much of the Bears this year. After Martz got Cutler out of the big seven step drops, Cutler was playing out of his mind. Also, you must not know football in general. The mere fact that Cutler SURVIVED that game in New Orleans was amazing. He had a jailbreak in his face as soon as the ball was snapped. Cutler's last five weeks he was outstanding. QB rating near 100, and had something like 8 TD's and 2 INT's. The Bears were scoring 31 points a game. Moron...
@richig761 Well I for one never hear his name mentioned personally. I don't know how bears fans view him but he's on the level of like a Tony Romo everywhere else. Sorry but thats the truth guy. You've got a good QB but never gonna be great and or in the hall of fame and he aint HALF of a Brees,Rodgers,P.Manning,or Brady.Hell even your defense has fallen apart and thats what you guys are supposed to be known for. We'll c how yall do come the playoffs.Oh wait,no we won't.Better luck next year ho
@foreverthreepwood Uhm... obviously you're not making the playoffs with literally every meaningful player on your offense injured. That's like if I ripped on the Saints for not making the playoffs without Brees, Ingram, Sproles, Thomas, Colston, and Graham. LOL. The Bears D fell apart? LOL, uhm... you obviously haven't seen a Bears game this year. The defense has been lights out... especially since the Cutler injury. I also never said Cutler was a hall of famer, so WTF are you rambling about?
@richig761 You certainly implied it by using the word ELITE fucker.Yall got plenty injuries so ill give ya that and your offensive line is...well..OFFENSIVE HaHaHA! I gotta admit tho,we have a really good one which makes all the difference in the world and that does indeed allow Brees plenty of time to go to work.If we had HALF those people out(not including Drew of course cuz then, yes,we'd b fucked)then it would hurt us,sure but we'd keep on rollin as we're not overly reliant on ONE dam person
@richig761 The whole goddamn point I'm trying to make to you is that you're team just hasn't been all that impressive this year even BEFORE your injuries and,I could be proven incorrect in saying this in the future but I think yall are on a downward slide. And you say the defense is lights out? From what i've seen they did farily good at the seasons start but your last 2 opponents scored a combined 73 points on u and one of them was the seattle. So LIGHTS OUT?Uh,No. Better than Average? Sure.
@richig761 In fact,I tell ya what.I'll take back my using of the term"fallen apart"to describe your defense which probably,I admit, was too strong of a term (and from what i've read your average defensive ranking this year so far is 18 which is right at,well AVERAGE) if YOU never use the words "Cutler" and "Elite" in the same sentence ever again.
@foreverthreepwood Wow, you clearly did not watch the Bears play at all this year. You also know nothing of the Bears defensive scheme. The Cover 2 is designed to allow yardage, but keep teams out of the endzone. Also, the Bears OFFENSE surrendered 14 of those points to the Seahawks. The defense was also on the field the entire game. I also never said Cutler was elite, however he sure as hell was playing like it before the injury. The Bears were averaging 31 PPG, and were a SB pick by many.
@richig761Yeah u got me there in that I havent seen much bears football this year but the all the games I did see they lost decisively so I guess the whole"keeping teams out of the endzone"thing didnt pan out.I seem 2 b distracted by the LSU Tigers playin 4 another Championship n the Saints finally have a powerhouse team after decades of being a joke.Dont sweat it tho little buddy.Maybe u guys will hav better luck next year.Hell that was our favorite phrase down here for YEARS until recently!LOL
@joshuafreebeastman he through the ball away inside the pocket so that's intentional grounding and therefore a safety because the foul accured inside the endzone
heh the saints were good then and the bears were good then but what happened bears suck saints win super bowl atleast we beat the colts u guys got raped
@mrkioking Actually our defense was incredible because we were so fast. Playing in a dome where the playing surface isn't crappy would have helped us.
o my!! biggest goosebumbs.. was six rows back behind the goalpost in this endzone. i go to about 4 games a season and that was BY FAR the loudest sporting event ive ever been to
i dont see why playing in a dome would affect anything, its not like they havent played in a dome before. Even if they havent it would not mean anything. hoemfield advantage, but the dome wont do shit, im sorry saints fans, but no.
@SlashIStheShit the Saints play in a dome set at 76 degrees. The Bears were playing in a field in the snow. The Saints didnt' even prepare for the game by playing in colder weather. So playing in a dome, would take away the snow factor, and would up the temperature a good 40 degrees. So yes, it could have affected the game.
@richig761 I wasn't talking about the Bears. I'm saying if this would have been a Dome, the saints would have been able to perform like they normally did. The Bears had a great team, but I was saying that it was such an unnatural enviroment for the Saints that they were at a complete disadvantage... but hey - that's home field advantage for ya.
@nagromretnuh Well, the Bears would have been even better in a dome, so it kind of even things back out. I really think the Bears beat the Saints wherever the hell they would have played that year.
@richig761 Okay I can agree with you on that one. The Saints had a good team, the Bears had a better team. Especially with Devin Hester taking back all those punt and kick returns. Damn that boy is fast!
HAHAHAHAHA how come no saints fans have been talkin on here lately? what was that about clinching alreasy? haha: not that bears fans can talk but wow the saints are really bad!
I was listening on the Radio in the stockroom at Wal-Mart in Cassville, MO, when the call came out
"Brees, Back to throw, throws it away, the fans and the Bears want a flag, and the referees are convening...Yeah, i think the Bears may have pressured Brees into a safety...And there's the Flag..."
"Intentional Grounding, Offense #9. Since the foul occurred in the Endzone, the Result of the play is a Safety"
excuse my ignorance but how is that a safety? is it because the quarterback was in the endzone or the intentional grounding?
