And Denver has revamped their Defense entirely from last season so you are dead wrong to say its the same defense from last year. We added some probowlers in the mix which include Brian Dawkins from Philly. Also, Cutler had a great Offense here in Denver and deserted it for a horrible one in Chicago you have a bad O there. ANd not much has changed. Other than signing Orlando Pace who has 1 year left in him maybe.

Okay, let me get this straight. You are knocking Jay Cutler for leading a #2 offense that had an inept defense, and think adding him to a top NFL defense is a bad idea? Really!? Half of his games went last season were over 300 yards (8 times as many as Orton), and that's a bad thing to add to a team that barely missed the playoffs? So how does Orton leading a 26th ranked offense help a 29th ranked Broncos defense? Chicago can add good WRs, but elite QBs are difficult to find.

So really, what we're talking here is that the Bears got a franchise QB and the Broncos got Kyle Orton and 3 shots in the draft at hopefully getting someone good.

Exactly. 50% of 1st rounders are complete busts, and only a very small portion of the remaining 50% are actually star players. So Chicago statistically beat the odds with one bust, and one stud player. With their 3rd rounder they simply traded that down for a 5th rounder. Chicago got a great deal here. Chicago has a young and talented offense with Forte, Olsen, and Hester. Bennett already has a great rapport with Cutler, and the team still has a talented Dez Clark....

....If Chicago finds a great receiver to compliment Hester and Bennett, this team will have all the tools to have a young, dominant offense. There is no doubt that that will be the number 1 issue addressed the rest of this offseason. Chicago will then be able to bring more youth to the defense the next few years. There is a lot of real potential with the Bears, and I think they will be a legitimate contender for the next 10 years or so under Cutler.

How can he? He has a 'D' that is rank 29 in the NFL and lost 7 RB this season. And last year the 'D' was 30. And his rookie year the 'D' WAS 32 .... All he has done in the past 3 year is just carrying this team by him self. He's 17-20 as the Broncos' starter, although that's misleading because of Denver's dismal defense. Cutler is 13-1 in games in which Denver has held its opponents under 21 points.
