Nicely presented Kim. Congratulations. It's great to hear a positive foster story because the lives of foster kids can be so unbelievably painful. I praise God for your desire to take an active role in changing the foster care system. We foster through a private agency. Our case worker comes along side us and our kids, investing time and love in ways county workers can't. You'll be in my prayers Kim Snodgrass. Don't lose your dream of making a difference! =D

i would love my mom to foster a teenager but she is unsure and every time i try and talk about it to her she changes the conversation deep down i know she wants to because she has told me.

@liljatownboy - Sounds like it's been tough for you Lil and that makes me sad. Maybe it's time for you to speak out on behalf of all kids in the system who haven't had ideal care. Change takes time, persistance, and dedication to a cause. I hope you'll decide to take an active role in seeking change for good, not be just another mouthpiece criticising those who are trying to make a difference. Bless you.
