  • But in this way all the vitamin E of the sprouds will be lost!

  • ok a SHOT ... should be swallowed in one sip not 4 or 5 as u did

  • hi friend. I enjoy watching this video, I will try do it. thanks

  • Awesome. Thank you. You're adorable BTW.

  • where do you buy the seeds that you sprouted?

  • Thank you sir, I can't wait to do this at home! Liferegenerator drinks his with coconut water so now I have two recipes. Peace.

  • @TheNolo73 Yeah! I really want to try that.

  • @thatoneguyonline hey matt, i was wondering were you can get wheat grass ive been searching for it for a couple of days. Please reply!

  • ok guys i grow mine hydroponically and it makes no difference than growing in soil as for the plant to get nutrients from the soil it has to grow a tap root and the plant is not alive long enough to grow a tap root and like hydro is like less messy but its up to your preference..

  • Did you have a mold problem when you were growing your wheatgrass?

  • cool :D

  • Very nice video. I do exactly the same thing for growing wheat grass except that I didn't put the stones in the second tray. Good idea, I think I will give that a try. I think it would give it more air circulation. You mentioned in another comment that you can't eat wheat grass. I do, I don't put it in a salad but I do put it in my Vitamix blender this way it is an ingredient in my morning green smoothie.

  • If i re-harvest wheatgrass over and over again, will i be able to juice the same amount and the same number of nutrients as with the 1st harvest?

  • Hi. You have done a great video. Many thanks. Could you please tell me where I could get the manual masticating juicer that you used in the show and what is the price. Thanks and god bless you.

  • @MrHakkin Thanks! You can get it at most health food stores.

  • You do not need land for wheat shoots! reusable cotton bed wet enough for it! is enough

  • Great video! Any idea as to where I can get a wheat grass tray like the one you used??

  • WOW SO informative!! I had a question, how would you change the soil in the wheat grass? Like, so the grass blades won't end up damaged? I know wheat grass is very thin so I was curious about that

  • Everywhere you go wheat grass is juiced, but could you just chop it and use it in salads? Seems like a whole lot of beneficial fiber going to waste.

  • @brettensile No! You can't eat wheatgrass, it has to be juiced... unless you're a cat lol.

  • @thatoneguyonline So would a blender with some water, be considered juicing?

    Let me know thanks.

  • Respond to this video... I noticed you used what would be called a pellet mill, meat grinder, Juice extractor (same animal) etc depending on size.

  • Thank you for this post, i shared it on my fb acc.

I plan to start today, although i got vermeculite to grow it in, i was told that would work too...How much wheatgrass does it take to juice half a cup? ~ peace

  • @EarthElla Nifty! A tray half the size in the video should give you enough for at least half a cup.

  • What juicer did you use for your wheat grass? How much grass did you juice because you dont really show what they actual yield is from the machine from what I can see is a Healthy Juicer?

  • You motivated me to feel confident to grow. Thank you

  • wow lol thats so pretty hehe

  • thanks so much for sharing, you did a great job.. will be growing mine like this today.

  • I liked how you were down to earth & showing each step. I think I'd have put paper towels in the bottom of the pan with holes then put in the soil & moss. But your system really looks like it would work well.

  • Thank you for the video.

  • Thank you! I appreciate this Video.

  • If you drink too much i.e. a cup of wheat grass a day, is that bad for you? the cup being like a coffee mug

  • Hey, you're a good demonstrator!

  • Thank you!

  • Wow this is a great video, just what I was looking for. Thanks a ton.

  • How much did you pay for all those seeds? Did you like them? Where did you get them? <3

  • @mynxiejynxie They're like a dollar a pound in the bulk section at any health food store. Yep... pretty good.

  • @mynxiejynxie you can find great prices on ebay... that's where i got mine :)

  • Awesome video. Thank you for getting to the point! A+

  • Your videos are amazing, you're so nice I just wanna hug you! Apart from that raw vegan videos are really well done, keep posting!

  • @Leobumbum Awe, thanks!

  • I also want to grow wheatgrass.

If someone can answer my question that would be great.

After cutting it the first time. Can I let it grow back or do I have to plant a new try?

If I can let it grow back. How many times can I do this?

  • @LetsCook2gether After cutting the first time, you can let it grow back once. It won't be as full as the first tray, but it's better than nothing. You can only do it once... a third tray wouldn't turn out too well. Good luck!

  • Watch these 2 videos about 32oz of wheatgrass LOL

    watch?v=rIw15QbI7C8

    watch?v=IkrC52y8HrI

  • @LetsCook2gether Wow! Very brave.

  • Yes, I do. I'm taking Enbrel for it... still waiting for it to kick in.

  • Glad you are back! Love your vids!

  • Thanks!

  • great vid amigo

  • Thanks!

  • @thatoneguyonline

Hi i have a question , after you soak the seeds overnight and you rinse them , do you let them leak until they all dry? or do they have to stay ( a little) moist?

  • @respeezy The seeds have to stay moist to sprout (hence rinsing them throughout the day). Good luck!

  • @thatoneguyonline

    tx man!

  • @respeezy Yep!

  • Thanks for posting this vid. Do you know how many ounces of juice are produced from your tray?

  • I believe, depending your juicer, you can get 16 to 20 ounces of juice out of each harvest from a tray that size.

  • What is the wheat grass for

  • There's TONS of things it's good for. It absorbs all 92 elements from the soil. It's a great detoxifier. That's one reason why you can only drink it in small amounts - it's powerful. Google wheatgrass and you'll find all kinds of great info.

  • Hi dude, nice seeing you again,. What a great job on your first bout making wheatgrass grow. Is 2011 going to be a new try eating more RAW??? Good luck!

  • Thanks! I will definitely try to eat more raw in 2011. I've pretty much decided to just be a vegan who incorporates raw food into my diet.

  • yes! i do another method and now that it´s summer here it´s getting mold, will try keeping them outside the tray for the first two days.

  • Great! Good luck.

  • ebut620

    good to see u back

  • thatoneguyonline

    Thanks!

  • annagant7

I'm very interested in growing my own wheatgrass after watching this video! I do have a question: do you specifically need a wheatgrass juicer? Could you juice the wheatgrass in a regular fruit/veggie juicer? Thanks for the video!

  • thatoneguyonline

Great! A masticating juicer is the best for wheatgrass. A regular centrifugal juicer would waste a lot. If you don't have a masticating juicer you can blend wheatgrass with water and strain the pulp. If all else fails just chew the grass, swallow the juice and spit out the pulp. Good luck!
