For the most part it's not deep enough to run a float through without snagging bottom the whole time but that pool could be float fished as its a good three feet deep, but I find free lining very effective there.

Fenlandfisherman, I follow your channel and really enjoy your videos too. My favourite is the one about rudd - we just don't get rudd like that in the MIdlands or if they are here, then they are very hard to find. I might have to make a journey over your way this summer and try for them myself.
