@Min0rguy The events literally cycle. There''s nothing new or original that i'm aware of, they just cycle through all the events bit by bit. day by day. jhen mohran events last... 2-3 days i think, giving you plenty of time to take advantage.

@pankoe1 Yeh, thats the thing tho, u just gotta try and b patient with new players. I became a veteran at MH playing solo offline ages b4 I ever played online so Ive never really had any probs lol. But I understand it can b bit hard starting out, especially with regular MMOs like WoW and Lotro, and it never helps if other players giv u a hard time. I know it can b annoying, but u just gotta try give them a chance really :)

@theultimatewin1 I dont bother with Xbox live, to me its a rip off. I always thought the Idea with live was, ur gamerscore, and points, cud b used to purchase things so like, if u earn and build up ur gamer score u can purchase stuff. But It doesnt, u still hav2 literally spend money to buy the odd stupid extra map pack, or costume/armor, etc. They're just money money money, every PC game thats had a makeover on the 360 console has been linear and watered down.

This is my point about all the DLC gamers buy for games today, look at Brink, special edition, u get a couple of special costumes?? lol
@theultimatewin1 I can tell u wen it comes to PC and Consoles both hav flaws. PC surpasses consoles alot, push a PC in-terms of power and potential and you can play really massive, diverse and Incredibly graphical quality games that offer alot of options, u just dont get on most console games. At the same time, the flaws with this r its can cost alot of money to do so lol. Consoles r quick and east to set up. PCs alot of wires, Installing, keyboard configuration, and mostly sitting up at a desk
I hav both and appreciate different games on both formats. One of my fav games r RPGs cus I can get so much more out of them, like alot u dont complete in a day lol. This is y I like MMOs so much. I like alot of games on consoles too, Metroid series, MGS, Tekken, the odd racing game like Gran Turismo, luv Fallout series and Mass Effect, Prototype and Vanquish, FPS like Battlefield, killzone, fear and Halo. I hav all consoles even a wii lol.
@RaikenXion me too. i love mmo and rpg because i never get tired of playing. the elder scrolls is my favorite. especially the dragons coming to skyrim. that's gonna give me something to do. and it's a good thing i got a wii because this sort of a wii exclusive. i think it's only available on wii for other countries.
@theultimatewin1 Yeh I like the Elder Scrolls series too, although Id say MMO is the way forward for that now, its the only thing that will do that series real justice, the stories that big, involves so many areas it makes sense. Although I will say Elder Scrolls games hav also grown quite linear since they came to consoles with Oblivion. Yes Its a great game, but not quite as "War" orintated as the story wud hav u think. Like at the end, battle doesnt feel like a invasion.
If u ever played the previous Elder Scrolls3, Morrowind (the graphics r a put off), that game is actually bigger than Oblivion, especially in-terms of what u can do and all its features. Oblivion didnt hav alot of factions, u cudnt even join the Imperial Legion. Morrowind had loads, and armor sets u cud even change the shoulder guards separate. Oblivion the shoulders came with the armor chest, as one whole piece. Little nip-pics but things I notice as examples of a much watered down game.
@RaikenXion well i havn't played morrowind but it's not watered down just because it's on a console. game companies don't do that. they do what dice and EA are doing with battlefield 3. the pc version has the graphics and more players while console puts what it can handle to the fullest. and what do you expect graphics to be on a 7 year old game? i could do without all those factions anyways. they could have had them but they decided to leave them out. skyrim will be better i can garuntee.
@theultimatewin1 Having loads of factions in a game is what makes it better, including more feartures and more things to do, NOT taking those things out lol. Look at MMOs like lotro the amount of things u can do in that game, loads of Kinships. Oblivion is watered down compared to Morrowind, becus Morrowind just simply has way more features, you wont know that because like you just stated, you hav not played Morrowind, so how can you know for sure If its watered down or not.
@RaikenXion i didn't say that it makes it better. i said it wasn't watered down because of consoles. if you look at the map of tamriel you will notice that morrowind is a bit bigger than cyrodiil. that may be the reason that it has more factions. and the seperate shoulder pieces don't really mean anything. it probably saves you money to buy the for body piece.

And seperate shoulder peices mean alot, becus you can individualize your character alot, say if you really like Dwarven armor, but also like Glass shoulder guards, you can mix it up more. Saving money in a game isnt so much of a deal really lol.
I know these later consoles adaptations have been watered down, becus Ive played all the Elder Scrolls. Alot of fans hav mostly got in2 from Elder Scrolls4. Dont get me wrong, I like Oblivion, its a beautiful well crafted game, but wen u compare it to its predecessor, the only thing it has thats better is the graphics. What Im saying is, even tho this series is on consoles now, they shud still hav full features and do what Morrowind originally did and had, which was loads of diversity.
Instead, wot Bethesda r getting used to is, making it prettier, but including less and less diversity. Skyrim will b good, but I hav a feeling it wont b much bigger as Oblivion in terms of diversity, features and things u can do. It'll b fun, but people will get in2 the hype more than anything, thats the trouble today, kids hype up a game way bigger than it usually is sumtimes, Gears2, Mass Effect2, all examples.
@RaikenXion i thought gears was pretty good. ya bethesda wants it pretty because morrowind was kinda depressing from what i've seen. but skyrim will include more features like the developers said. more factions and more dungeons. not to mention more ways to customize your person. you can be a battlemage which is pretty awesome. it should be relatively the same size though. but it has more mountains so in a way it's a little bigger that cyrodiil. more exploration for me.
@theultimatewin1 Yes the first Gears, but the sequel felt rushed, plus ever1 hypes that game up too much also, just cus the graphics r pretty gud and the nice effective cover/shoot gamplay. Its not the prettiness of Oblivion that Im annoyed at, yes thats wot attracted people, that and the open world, sandbox feel the game gives u of freedom to explore, and all this is good. But, theres too much open space and not alot to do in it all, this is wot I mean, needed 2b more little towns.
@RaikenXion ya i agree. there are some little towns but you gotta find them. as for gears 2 i havn't played it. it probably was rushed because of the great feedback they got. they wanted to give the fans what they want before everything was done. but atleast fans got it. as for gears 3 im sure that won't be a let down. the horde mode is what will win that game goty if it gets good reviews.

@RaikenXion mw3 is gonna suck. i lost my faith in cod a long time ago when i played mw2. i know there are other games that can get game of the year. gears of war are just one of them. im usually all halo but new one doesn't come out till next year so i got my hopes in gears and skyrim. horde mode and multiplayer will be amazing while an rpg with at least a month of gameplay will be the end of everyones social life.
@theultimatewin1 Yes Morrowind was depressing becus of its seeting, but in-terms of the story and world of Elder Scrolls that is the Home of the Dark Elves, so I accepted it as that. Its like starwars, r u gonna say Geonosis is depressing just becus it looks the way it does?? Or Tatooine is too full of desert! lol. Morrowind was so open but had enough little towns and settlements inbetween it to fill up alot of the space. This is what Oblivion lacked.
@theultimatewin1 PC games I like r original AvP, Elite force, Crysis1, Portal, Half life, Deus, and alot of MMOs like WoW, lotro, FF. Mircosoft thought they cud blend the best of both wen they created the Xbox but It hasnt worked, and they really dont make enough of THIER OWN GAMES, to make me really appreciate them. Gears is not theirs, Mass Effect is Bioware, Id prob just say Halo, but even that was made by Bungie and Microsoft just bought that company out, just like they do with everything

@theultimatewin1 Sorry to rant and rave, but u say the Japanese branch make the descisions, Capcom hav done a deal with Microsoft, to run thier servers, and allow MH Frontier as one of the few cross-platform MMOs. Both Xbox 360 players and PC players can play Frontier together. Its not worth ordering Frontier from Japan, becus of the IP server, thats the whole point of the deal, its only for JAPANESE players. NOT WESTERN. Thats basically what Capcom thinks of its MH fans in the "West." lol

@madskilliz The Ballista Binder is located in the blue box at the start of the quest. It looks like yellow ammo for the bowgun. Once it says 'The Ballista Binder is ready for use', go to the Balistia and use the Binder.
@lagiacrus888 Well it depends if its the repel only event or your urgent... If its the urgent then it is easy to kill him, you just have to destroy his spine, tusks, and his arm before the final showdown and you also have to make sure you attack with the cannons at the end, They are much better then your own weapons

@theultimatewin1 I can tell u wen it comes to PC and Consoles both hav flaws. PC surpasses consoles alot, push a PC in-terms of power and potential and you can play really massive, diverse and Incredibly graphical quality games that offer alot of options, u just dont get on most console games. At the same time, the flaws with this r its can cost alot of money to do so lol. Consoles r quick and east to set up. PCs alot of wires, Installing, keyboard configuration, and mostly sitting up at a desk

I hav both and appreciate different games on both formats. One of my fav games r RPGs cus I can get so much more out of them, like alot u dont complete in a day lol. This is y I like MMOs so much. I like alot of games on consoles too, Metroid series, MGS, Tekken, the odd racing game like Gran Turismo, luv Fallout series and Mass Effect, Prototype and Vanquish, FPS like Battlefield, killzone, fear and Halo. I hav all consoles even a wii lol.

@RaikenXion me too. i love mmo and rpg because i never get tired of playing. the elder scrolls is my favorite. especially the dragons coming to skyrim. that's gonna give me something to do. and it's a good thing i got a wii because this sort of a wii exclusive. i think it's only available on wii for other countries.

@theultimatewin1 Yeh I like the Elder Scrolls series too, although Id say MMO is the way forward for that now, its the only thing that will do that series real justice, the stories that big, involves so many areas it makes sense. Although I will say Elder Scrolls games hav also grown quite linear since they came to consoles with Oblivion. Yes Its a great game, but not quite as "War" orintated as the story wud hav u think. Like at the end, battle doesnt feel like a invasion.

If u ever played the previous Elder Scrolls3, Morrowind (the graphics r a put off), that game is actually bigger than Oblivion, especially in-terms of what u can do and all its features. Oblivion didnt hav alot of factions, u cudnt even join the Imperial Legion. Morrowind had loads, and armor sets u cud even change the shoulder guards separate. Oblivion the shoulders came with the armor chest, as one whole piece. Little nip-pics but things I notice as examples of a much watered down game.

@RaikenXion well i havn't played morrowind but it's not watered down just because it's on a console. game companies don't do that. they do what dice and EA are doing with battlefield 3. the pc version has the graphics and more players while console puts what it can handle to the fullest. and what do you expect graphics to be on a 7 year old game? i could do without all those factions anyways. they could have had them but they decided to leave them out. skyrim will be better i can garuntee.

@theultimatewin1 Having loads of factions in a game is what makes it better, including more feartures and more things to do, NOT taking those things out lol. Look at MMOs like lotro the amount of things u can do in that game, loads of Kinships. Oblivion is watered down compared to Morrowind, becus Morrowind just simply has way more features, you wont know that because like you just stated, you hav not played Morrowind, so how can you know for sure If its watered down or not.

@RaikenXion i didn't say that it makes it better. i said it wasn't watered down because of consoles. if you look at the map of tamriel you will notice that morrowind is a bit bigger than cyrodiil. that may be the reason that it has more factions. and the seperate shoulder pieces don't really mean anything. it probably saves you money to buy the for body piece.

And seperate shoulder peices mean alot, becus you can individualize your character alot, say if you really like Dwarven armor, but also like Glass shoulder guards, you can mix it up more. Saving money in a game isnt so much of a deal really lol.

I know these later consoles adaptations have been watered down, becus Ive played all the Elder Scrolls. Alot of fans hav mostly got in2 from Elder Scrolls4. Dont get me wrong, I like Oblivion, its a beautiful well crafted game, but wen u compare it to its predecessor, the only thing it has thats better is the graphics. What Im saying is, even tho this series is on consoles now, they shud still hav full features and do what Morrowind originally did and had, which was loads of diversity.

Instead, wot Bethesda r getting used to is, making it prettier, but including less and less diversity. Skyrim will b good, but I hav a feeling it wont b much bigger as Oblivion in terms of diversity, features and things u can do. It'll b fun, but people will get in2 the hype more than anything, thats the trouble today, kids hype up a game way bigger than it usually is sumtimes, Gears2, Mass Effect2, all examples.

@RaikenXion i thought gears was pretty good. ya bethesda wants it pretty because morrowind was kinda depressing from what i've seen. but skyrim will include more features like the developers said. more factions and more dungeons. not to mention more ways to customize your person. you can be a battlemage which is pretty awesome. it should be relatively the same size though. but it has more mountains so in a way it's a little bigger that cyrodiil. more exploration for me.

@theultimatewin1 Yes the first Gears, but the sequel felt rushed, plus ever1 hypes that game up too much also, just cus the graphics r pretty gud and the nice effective cover/shoot gamplay. Its not the prettiness of Oblivion that Im annoyed at, yes thats wot attracted people, that and the open world, sandbox feel the game gives u of freedom to explore, and all this is good. But, theres too much open space and not alot to do in it all, this is wot I mean, needed 2b more little towns.

@RaikenXion ya i agree. there are some little towns but you gotta find them. as for gears 2 i havn't played it. it probably was rushed because of the great feedback they got. they wanted to give the fans what they want before everything was done. but atleast fans got it. as for gears 3 im sure that won't be a let down. the horde mode is what will win that game goty if it gets good reviews.

@RaikenXion mw3 is gonna suck. i lost my faith in cod a long time ago when i played mw2. i know there are other games that can get game of the year. gears of war are just one of them. im usually all halo but new one doesn't come out till next year so i got my hopes in gears and skyrim. horde mode and multiplayer will be amazing while an rpg with at least a month of gameplay will be the end of everyones social life.

@theultimatewin1 Yes Morrowind was depressing becus of its seeting, but in-terms of the story and world of Elder Scrolls that is the Home of the Dark Elves, so I accepted it as that. Its like starwars, r u gonna say Geonosis is depressing just becus it looks the way it does?? Or Tatooine is too full of desert! lol. Morrowind was so open but had enough little towns and settlements inbetween it to fill up alot of the space. This is what Oblivion lacked.

@theultimatewin1 PC games I like r original AvP, Elite force, Crysis1, Portal, Half life, Deus, and alot of MMOs like WoW, lotro, FF. Mircosoft thought they cud blend the best of both wen they created the Xbox but It hasnt worked, and they really dont make enough of THIER OWN GAMES, to make me really appreciate them. Gears is not theirs, Mass Effect is Bioware, Id prob just say Halo, but even that was made by Bungie and Microsoft just bought that company out, just like they do with everything

@theultimatewin1 Sorry to rant and rave, but u say the Japanese branch make the descisions, Capcom hav done a deal with Microsoft, to run thier servers, and allow MH Frontier as one of the few cross-platform MMOs. Both Xbox 360 players and PC players can play Frontier together. Its not worth ordering Frontier from Japan, becus of the IP server, thats the whole point of the deal, its only for JAPANESE players. NOT WESTERN. Thats basically what Capcom thinks of its MH fans in the "West." lol

@madskilliz The Ballista Binder is located in the blue box at the start of the quest. It looks like yellow ammo for the bowgun. Once it says 'The Ballista Binder is ready for use', go to the Balistia and use the Binder.

@lagiacrus888 Well it depends if its the repel only event or your urgent... If its the urgent then it is easy to kill him, you just have to destroy his spine, tusks, and his arm before the final showdown and you also have to make sure you attack with the cannons at the end, They are much better then your own weapons
