Well, I melee for mana, and he has a knockback. So if I stand in front of him, I get knocked back a far shorter distance, therefore less healing downtime.

Fraps is very demanding. Be sure to set the frame rate to something like 30 or lower rather than 60 - this will lower your frames to 30, but also make it easier to record.

Recording without recording sound can also improve performance, as can having a faster hard drive. Recording video is a very demanding task for a computer.

Most impressive. That's some professional healing right there. You're one of the few Paladins I've seen who actually make use of the great tool in Seal of Wisdom. I just came out of a 22 wipe streak on Beasts and rolling with 2 healers might be the way to go. If they're at your level.

Why thank you sir! Seal of Wisdom is an incredible tool, and I find it disappointing that so many Paladins relegate it to the backseat, when in most fights using it is almost as simple as healing from the back row with the casters. Learning the hitboxes of each boss really helps.

For example, you can melee from where casters generally are on Onyxia! Don't even have to get into swipe range! (If she turns due to a fear.)

gj guys u made that look easy, that fight really is alot harder than the normal verson, iv never tried it with 2 healers, but that could be where we are going wrong. 5/5

We definitely didn't one-shot it, but once you get it down it's hard not to get it down every time! I'd recommend 2 healers strictly for the increased DPS, and realistically in 10-mans you should never need 3 healers.

That all depends on the fight, here, for example, I maintain about 6000HPS until Icehowl comes out, then it drops to about 4500 or so since no one takes that much damage from Icehowl. On average, I'd say 5k HPS on any given fight, with massive spikes on certain fights.

yeah unfortunately one of our healers is out with family issues and we are only do 10 mans.. So 2 druids just has to do unfortunately.. We gave it 5 more attempts last night and we were able to get to phase 3.. but quickly fell apart w/ not both of the worms being dead

Yeah that's why we two-heal it, the DPS requirements are a bit high. If you can manage it with 2, that's the way to go!

While Druids are fantastic healers, I wouldn't recommend taking ONLY druids for healing, because they can have trouble keeping up direct healing for long - if you have the DPS I'd take a third healer like a Holy Priest or preferably a Paladin for their direct healing potential.

Or if one of the druids doesn't mind sitting it out, replace them for the fight. It's impressive the two of them can get past Gormokk, but it's going to be rough going on a lot of fights.

As a healer? Nothing. As a Holy Paladin? Everything. You can use Seal of Wisdom to melee to get tons of mana back. Extremely beneficial.

With the kobolds, it's simple, the DPS switched, nuked and returned to the boss immediately. You have to have high DPS for it though, you're on a pretty strict timer.

you should have enough mana so you dont run out. you shouldnt have to do really any mana regen yourself always bring a shaman so you can drop mana spring totem. BUT if u are raid healing this i a fantastic idea and main tank healer should walk into htoc without at least 23k unbuffed.

golf, Its obvious you dont heal any difficult content if you think you dont have to do any mana regen, Every bit helps. I play a Holy Paladin myself and in this fight you need to mostly spam HL as this guy was doing. The 1200 mana you get back on the wisdom proc is huge and youd be a fool to not try to get max mana regen. A straight HL spam would have you OOM in 3-4 mins without using regen abilities. This was a great video and great job healing. Keep up the good work :)

Appreciate it! Yeah, as the content ramps up, the more mana regen you have, the better. Being able to successfully melee is an amazing way to build up mana.

I can see it like that, because i havent done 10 heroic yet my gear is good enough but i choose to wait on my guild. But i stack haste and intellect i have about 23k mana unbuffed and my flash of light is at 1.12 and heals for about 5k and crits 6-9k. I also have a 35% crit unbuffed(skinning is a minor help)and whatever keeps your tanks alive I say do it but I really think haveing to go thourgh that spell lock is not a smart move.
